We had been on the roof for about 45 minutes before I finished telling Peter the whole truth. I leaned back and looked at the sky while I waited for Peter to say something. "Well..." He said slowly while looking at me. "That explains a lot about what's been going on lately." I gave a slight laugh.
"It feels good to tell you. I just didn't because I didn't know how you would react." He nodded, then I continued. "Hey how did you know what to do when I started to break down?" Peter looked down then took a breath. "Well my Uncle Ben was killed a few years ago and so I had experience from when Aunt May would start crying." "Oh, I I didn't know. I'm sorry Peter." He nodded and looked back up and smiled. "It's ok... So um can I see what your powers do? The only time I saw them in action is when you were afraid." I nodded quickly and smiled. "I still don't really know how to handle my ice powers but I can try." I pushed my hand out towards the wall and I saw ice come out of my palm and freeze the wall. "Woah." I breathed.
Peter stood up and walked over to touch the wall. "Addy that is so cool!" He called as he ran back over to me. "I guess but your powers are cooler." I said. "No they aren't..." He said. "Peter they really are... you don't know what I would give to be able to swing across the city, or, or sit on top of the Brooklyn bridge." Peter looked out over the side of the building. "What if you could?" "I'm sorry, Pete what do you mean?" I said. Peter walked over to me and wrapped his arm around my waist. I blushed and looked at him, then he jumped off the roof pulling me with him.
