I walked up stairs and into the living room to see Clint standing on a bar stool looking horrified. "Clint what's wrong?" I whispered. He looked from the hallway to me then back to the hallway before speaking. "Nat looked like she was about to cry. I have NEVER seen her that close to crying." At that point I started to worry about Aunt Nat so I started walking down the hall. Clint called after me. "Addy! Be careful." I nodded and slowly walked into Natashas room. "Aunt Nat? Are you ok?" I called as I tiptoed around the corner.
I saw Nat in the corner of her room clobbering her punching bag, I could see her eyes were welling up with tears. Apparently she didn't hear me call her the first time because I got closer and whispered "Nat?" She had turned around and punched me in the gut which made me fly 4 feet backwards and double over in pain. "Ouch..." I groaned as I sat on the floor. Nat ran over to me and knelt down next to me. "Addison?" She said softly. I looked up and saw that a single tear had escaped her eye and ran down her cheek. "Nat are you ok?" I asked as I gave her a hug.
She accepted my hug and said "I'm fine Addy." I knew what 'I'm Fine' really ment. "Aunt Natasha..." I said sternly as I pulled away and looked into her eyes. "I know that something is wrong but I can't figure out what. I am willing to listen to whatever is bothering you and I will always be here." Just as those words came out of my mouth Nat broke, tears started streaming down her face. "That's the thing Addison, you may not be here." I gave her a puzzled look to tell her to go on. "Well with just your training I knew that none of the others would let you out into the field, but with your new powers they may let you go on missions. One of which you may get hurt on or never come back from. I mean Hydra has already gotten to you some how so what would stop them from getting you again." I looked at her face and knew she really cared. "You are the closest thing I will ever have to a daughter and I can't loose you. I don't know what I would do if you died!" She cried.
At this point I had started to cry too, but I pulled it together enough to say... "Aunt Nat, you will never loose me. I will train and learn how to control my powers and how to be effective on missions so I won't be in danger." I smiled. "Even then, do you really think Uncle Steve, Thor, Tony, Bruce, Wanda, Clint, Bucky, Loki, You, and now Peter will let get even close to getting killed in battle?" Nat smiled at that thought. "Aunt Nat, I love you so much and you couldn't loose me even if you tried." I whispered. She hugged me then we sat there on the floor talking about how crazy that battle would be if everyone tried to protect me.
After a while we both dried our faces and walked back out into the training room. Of course we pretend that we didn't cry even though we both knew the truth. After working on controlling my ice power for a bit we took a water break and I looked at my phone.
HEY YALL I AM SO SORRY FOR BEING MIA FOR SUCH A LONG TIME! BUT I AM BACK! AND I JUST WANTED TO SHOW NATASHA SOME FREAKING LOVE! SHE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PEOPLE IN THE MCU AND SHE DESERVES SO MUCH LOVE! AND A FUNERAL!
