First and foremost, I'd like to apologize ahead of time for the Nordic spam-- very Nordic-centered portion of this story. I've kind of been inspired, which I'm not sorry for. I'm just sorry you all have to suffer through it ^_^' But hey! I almost never used them in my previous stories, so I thought I might as well make up for that now.

Secondly, I love you all and I hope you're having a wonderful day/night. Have fun reading!

"Whoa-- hey!" Willow yelped as she was "kidnapped" and dragged away from the breakfast line. She and her kidnapper didn't slow down until they were hidden around a corner at the edge of the dining hall.

"So, how'd it go?" Alice asked amiably. "Do I need to murder anyone-- cough cough Iceland cough cough-- for you on this lovely day, sister dearest?"

"No," Willow replied, sighing once before a giddy giggle bubbled up from her throat. She tamped it down bashfully. "I, uh-- we're good now."

"You made up?" the older sister asked, taken aback a bit. Wisp nodded emphatically, beaming bright enough to rival the early morning sun. "Wow... That's great! I'm really glad for you two!"

"Thanks~" Willow said. "Gosh, I just feel like such an idiot right now. I'm too happy to do anything but grin stupidly."

"Welcome to the world of romantic love," her sister welcomed her with a sweeping gesture of her one hand. "Which reminds me. I still haven't graphically threatened him against breaking your heart!"

"What?" she yelped in response to that. "No, Alice, no! Don't do that, okay? It's really not a good time for something like that. He's... preoccupied with other matters."

"What, he has matters that take precedence over my little sister? His girlfriend?" Alice said, completely unconvinced. "That's stupid. And I spent a good portion of last night coming up with some really juicy threats, too."

"Pleeease don't!" Willow pleaded with her exceedingly stubborn older sister. "Look, I'm not really supposed to say much right now about it, but if I tell you why you can't threaten him, will you at least wait to do it?"

Alice let out a breath and leaned against the wall. "Alright. Maybe. What is it?"

"It's just... you know how Norway and Iceland are actually related, like you and I are? And that we both ended up having magic at some point?" Willow inquired, setting herself up for an explanation.

She didn't have to give one. "Iceland's got--?" Alice gasped incredulously, her mouth dropping open. "No way!"

Willow nodded once. "It kinda looks like the northern lights. But you have to keep your mouth shut about this, okay? I'm only telling you 'cause you're my sister. And because you'll probably be completely tactless and start to threaten him at the worst of times."

"Ouch," Oregon hissed, pretending to have been shot in the heart. "Right where it hurts."

Washington rolled her eyes. "Can I go get back in line, now? After you made me lose my spot and everything?"

The older sister rolled her eyes and pantomimed dramatic crying. "Oh, waaah! Come on, let's go eat. Where's Emil, though?"

"I was standing next to him until you kidnapped me," Willow replied humorlessly.

"Ah! I missed my opportunity," Alice groaned mirthfully as she and Willow came out of "hiding" and found themselves at the end of the gradually shrinking cafeteria line. "Oh well..."
