Part 5

I was sat in my room listening to mumford and sons. I looked at my alarm clock it was 6pm and I hadn't seen Luca or my sister since I bumped into them at the shopping centre. I sat on my bed and kept changing positions because for some reason every position I sat in felt uncomfortable, so I got up and walked round the room. I heard a tapping on my window and turned around to find Luca standing on the balcony. I went over and opened the balcony door, I felt the cold wind wrap round me like a blanket. He came in rubbing his hands together to keep warm

"What were you doing?" he asked

"I was just thinking" I said, rubbing my arms

"About me of course" he said in a sarcastic voice.

"Don't flatter yourself" I said half laughing "Now," I said "You answer my questions and then you leave. Okay" I smiled as he shrugged off his jacket "First one, what did you do with my sister?" i asked. he laughed

"We just hung out for the day, nothing more" he laughed

"How-" i began to say but he raised his hand

"Nah-ah! My turn, what were you doing on the roof the day I fell?" he looked closely at me

"Hmm, let's see, I was woken up from my beauty sleep by some prick so I went to investigate"

"Most girls would be too scared" he said smiling

"Well, I'm not like 'most girls'" I said, he just nodded "Why did you try to kill me?" I asked, he looked up at me, sadness in his eyes

"I didn't mean to...it's just the smell of your blood...I couldn't help myself. I mean I am a vampire as well as fallen angel. But I swear I didn't intend on killing you" I just nodded I was about to open my mouth and speak but he stopped me, then I realised it was his turn to ask

"What are you?" he asked curiously, I was confused.

"Uhhh I'm a human girl" he shook his head and stroked his jaw

"Girl, yes...human no" I looked at him like he was crazy "the smell of your blood. There was something... different about it"

"Oh great" I whispered to myself "Okay, well. I don't think that's true, you did fall from the sky so you were probably hallucinating or you have a brain tumour?" he laughed I clapped my hands once "Okay my turn, why did you fall from heaven?"

"I fell because I...fell in love, with a girl, a human girl, and. I spent all my time watching over her, and when it was her time to die...I didn't let it happen. I messed with fate and now I am living as a fallen vampire" he looked up at me, that one answer sparked a thousand others... I couldn't help but feel a little twang of jealousy at hearing about the girl he gave up heaven for. I wish someone gave up heaven for me. I think he caught on to my jealous face because he smiled "Aw, you jealous?" I scoffed

"No. and that was your question up! So now it's mine" he just smiled with no argument "What happened to the girl?" I asked whilst getting my arm chair with wheels and sat on it, Luca was sat on my bed.

"She died...because she had to." His face gave nothing away of the anguish he was probably feeling, my heart broke for him. I could never imagine myself losing the love of my life.

"My turn," he said "are you and Cam dating?" I scoffed

"I don't really know...we might be..." I shrugged "Not really sure at the moment"

"You shouldn't even be friends with him, he's bad news"

"What do you mean?"

"I've been up in heaven and I see everything that goes on with everyone. Let's just say he has a very...beat up past" he laughed "don't let the innocent puppy dawg look fool you" I smiled

"Well I know how to take care of myself. Thank you" he held up his hands in surrender

"Just saying" I smiled spinning in my chair "Nothing more you want to ask?" he said getting up

"Why did you drink my blood?"

"I'm really sorry about that. The fall it takes a years for us to reach earth if that's where we're sent and I was very hungry"

"Never. Again."

"I promise" he said

"What happened when I fell?" i said raising my eyebrows he sighed and sat back down on the bed

"When you fell, you died. But I brought you back."

"Is that it?" I asked, really I thought something awesome would have happened, like I became an angel too or I became a vampire or something with cool powers. But no I'm back to being a human "How?"

"I may be fallen but I'm still an angel, so I still have healing powers"

"Oooohhhhh" I said "cool" he laughed

"You are so weird,"

"Why?" I said laughing

"Because...you're so cool about everything...You're like a cucumber" that made me laugh even more

"A cucumber" I said laughing even harder "Well, that's a new one. Maybe I just know how to handle things?"

"Yeah maybe" he said, my phone went off in my pocket, I replied to the text and when I looked back up, I was cheek to cheek to Luca, his head tilted so his lips were inches from mine, he started inching closer to me but before his lips could touch mine I turned my head away and hit him on the cheek

"I have a boyfriend..." he sighed, his breath warming my neck

"Technically you don't know if you're going out or not so..." he did have a point "I won't hurt you" he promised

"How do I know that?" I asked

"You're just gonna have to trust that I won't hurt you" I got up and hugged him

"I don't know who you are but i feel like i can trust my whole life with you" i held on tightly ad he hugged me back. I heard a knock on the door

"Hey I was wondering if I could -Luca" she asked surprised, I looked back at Luca,

"Hey"

"What's he doing here?" She whispered to me,

"Nothing just hanging out" I said whilst closing the door slightly. I could hear Louise protesting as the door edged closer to being fully closed but I knew she'd forgive me. When I turned round I had found that luca was gone and the balcony door was open.
