Chapter 9

I text Cam to come to my house at 7 while Louise was still talking and flirting with Darren, laughing that ridiculously flirty laugh at him. Well, they seem to be getting on well.

"Louise..." i whispered loudly, she turned round to me "let's go" i said, she looked kinda dissapointed 

"Well, it was so nice meeting you Darren, you have my number, call me sometime" she said with a smile, i rolled my eyes

"It was lovely to meet you, i hope maybe we could go on a date?" he asked raising an eyebrow, Louise looked back at me, i shrugged

"What? im not mom" i said

"How about tonight?" he asked Louise, she smiled and laughed a goofyish laugh

"Lemme check if im busy - oh im not"

"excellent" he said and it was only then that i realised he had a strange twang to his accent "you can text me your adress and i'll pick you up at" his eyes flickered to me then back "Seven?" Louise nodded, she turned to me

"You'll be home when i get back right?"

"Yup" i said "Cam's coming over so i won't be lonely"

"Cam?" asked Darren " as in Cameron Krow?"

"Yeah" i said in surprise, it was weird hearing someone use his full name "You know him?" he let out a short chuckle

"Know him? He's my cousin" Louise and i both stared wide eyed at him, it made sense they both had the brown hair and brown eyes, though Cam's were blueish too.

"How?" i asked

"His father has a brother who is my father"

"Oh" me and Louise said at the same time as though we just realised the most obvious thing in the world, he smiled

"Well, i'd better be going, I'll see you later" he said to Louise "it was lovely to meet you, Ada"

"You too" i said as he walked past me, Louise started jumping like a hyper 5 year old,

"OMG!!" she squealed "I have a date tonight!"

"Yeah, no need to say thank you or anything" she stopped jumping and smiled

"Thank you" she said in the voice she uses when mom lets her buy something ridiculously expensive

It was around 6:30 now, i had asked Cam to come earlier because my sister was annoying me with her constant questions and borrowing of clothes and 'what shoes would go with this'. in the end she settled for MY clothes, she wore her own black skinny jeans with my white 'there's no rest for the wicked' tank and my red checked blazer and my black ankle boots.

"How do i look?" she asked

"Like me, considering half those clothes are mine" she waved my comment away, just then we heard the door bell, Louise looked at me confused,

"It's probably Cam" i said, i went downstairs and opened the door sure enough to find him there, i jumped and hugged him, he laughed, i dropped down and pressed my lips to his, only to be interrupted by a cough, i open my right eye to see Darren, i take my lips off Cam and stand there awkwardly.

"Hey Darren" i said, leaning into Cam and whispered between gritted teeth "Why didn't you tell me he was gonna be here?" not that i didn't like him, i just embarrassed myself in front of him, a perfect stranger saw me practically dry hump my boyfriend who happens to be his cousin, i noticed he was holding flowers "Aww you got roses, Louise's favourite" i sighed he seems like a nice enough guy, i dropped my head and noticed he was wearing black vans, i cocked my head to the side "Come in, i'll just get Louise"  they both walked in and i closed the door then ran up stairs

"Louise!" i whispered "You're Bahama mama is here!" she ran out of her room and gasped

"Aaahhhh!!" she whispered back "Crap!" then she ran back into her room while i sat on the stairs, laughing quietly, she ran back out of her room with my blazer and heels in hand, but as she ran she slipped over and fell, i laughed even harder as she lay there laughing too. She got up and sighed still laughing "that hurt" she said and got up then put on the boots and blazer and headed downstairs. I followed after still trying to stifle my laughter. We got downstairs and Darren was there waiting roses in hand he held them out to her

"For you"

"Aw, you got me roses? they're my favourite" she was smiling like a goon "Oh, hey Cam" I hadn't realised that Cam was standing next to me,

"Hey" he said while wrapping an arm round me 

"Well" Darren spoke "We'd better be going" he said. they both left the house, me and Cam stayed quiet till we heard the car fade away, we turned to each other,we sat on my plush living room sofa, i snuggled up to him resting my head on his chest, i could hear the even rhythm of his heart, i closed my eyes and began to basque in the moment. i realised then that he was playing with my hair, i lifted my head to face him, he smiled at me with that beautiful smile. He was still playing with a strand of hair just by my face as he spoke

"Im so lucky to have you" he laughed a little "great now i sound like a sap" he said lowering his head, i smiled and put my hand on the side of his face and lifted it till he was eye level with me

"You're not much of a sap" i said jokingly "i feel the same way" he smiled

"You know how long i've liked you for?" he asked, i shook my head slightly "Since the first day i met you, remember Cloves party?" i thought for a moment then the memories came flooding back 

"I remember! i helped you get salsa out of your hair" he was that drunk him and a bunch of his friends fell on the snacks table. I ran my fingers through his hair, loving the soft touch of it, running my hand from the back of his head, down past his neck to his chest where i could feel his strong heart beat quickening, then feeling his lips burning hot against mine. Cam placed his hand on my back as he lowered me till i was lying down, then he slid his hands from my back till both his hands were on my hips, and both my arms wrapped round his neck, i could feel his hands sliding up from my hips till they were on my waist pulling me closer

"Yo! people, we got minors over here"  i broke away from Cam to see Luca walking to sit on the armchair legs swung over the arm rest

"Dude!" i said

"What? we know each other, right Cameron" Cam gave an audible sigh

"Yeah, how could i forget the infamous Luca?" Cam got up and sat

"Do you wanna tell her how we really know each other or should i?" Said Luca smugly "Oh, and since we're revisiting old memories, how bout you tell Lovely Ada here what you really are?" what did he mean? and why wait until now to tell me all this? i mean yeah he warned me about him being evil but why share everything now? I looked at Cam

"Cam?" i asked

"Oh, this will be fun" Luca said with a mischievous grin

"Okay..." was all Cam said, and then the truth came pouring out.
