My eyes open to the bright rays of morning light coming through my white curtains. I rub my eyes to wake up, releasing a huge yawn as well. Rolling over to my side I grab my plugged in phone to check the time. 10:24AM. In shock, I quickly sat up in bed trying to process the time in my brain.

I groan, "I'm late to class..." then quickly got out of bed to get ready for the day.

Thank the good lord in heaven that I had my outfit ready last night. I brush my teeth, take my hair scarf off and do a touch up to my hair, put on a yellow sweater with some light blue jeans, slide my glasses on and grab my phone from its charger.

My professors at my university in LA don't really call you out for being late, but not this university in Korea. It's a very good school and they take education here hella serious. Since I'm running late, professor might talk to me after class and scold me. Hopefully, since I'm an international student and I live off campus, she might let me slide. I grabbed my books for the day, threw them in my white tote bag, slid some Adidas on and ran out the door.

As I ran down the block, I saw the bus pull up and I quickly ran to join the crowd getting onto the bus. Campus isn't too far from where I live so I could walk but it would take about 20 minutes to get there. If I took the bus, it cuts down to 5 minutes since its just one bus stop away. When the bus arrives at my stop I get out of my seat and I get off, beginning my running again. Campus is just around the corner, I just need to hurry up.

While running, I accidentally bump into a young man wearing black thin framed glasses, a white mouth mask and some jeans with a yellow hoodie on with the hoodie up. My things in my bag fall to the ground and he drops his phone. I quickly apologize to him in Korean and bend down to pick up my things. He tells me its okay and he also bends down to help me put my books back into my bag. I get back up and thank him in Korean, receiving an eye smile from him, meaning he was probably smiling behind his mouth mask. I then run off to campus, hoping I won't be even more late than I already am.

I'm done with all of my classes today. I missed my first lecture, I unfortunately didn't make it on time. I went to apologize to the professor and thankfully she only let me off with a warning. She's lowkey soft for international students, I just know it. I leave campus and walk to my favorite cafe around the corner to grab a macchiato and do some homework. After I get my drink, I sit in the back at my favorite spot because it's less commotion than in the front of the cafe.

I take out a textbook and my notebook and begin reviewing the notes I took in class and compare them with the text in the textbook. I smile as I smell the delicious scent of the caramel macchiato fill my nose, just wanting to enter my tired system. I hear the bell from the door ring and my stimuli couldn't help but make me turn around to see who came into the cafe. My eyes widen when I see it was the man who I bumped into earlier.

He went to the counter to make an order and I couldn't help but watch as he pulled his hood off, running his hand through his black locks. My eyes widen even more when I saw how handsome he looked even though he seemed to be hiding himself under a bright color. He turned around briefly and our eyes locked for a moment before I awkwardly looked back down at my notebook to focus on my homework. I never looked up after that as I felt embarrassed that I was caught staring at the guy who I bumped into by accident on the street. Oh how my luck turned out...

About 3 minutes later, I see a pair of black ankle cut doc martens at the feet of my table and I hear a deep, "Excuse me?" In English.

That was definitely the guy I bumped into earlier...
