Chapter One

**Niall's POV**

I clutched the beer bottle to my chest as my body swayed against gravity. Damn gravity always against me! I attempted to stand up and immediately flopped over onto the floor, my beer spilling out and I burst out laughing. I didn't know why I was laughing, my brain was way to wired to make any sense.

"Nialler! What you doing down there mate?" Harry's voice came from above me in slurs. I watched him struggle to keep on his own feet.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I was yanked up off the ground. I felt the world pitch forward and I put my hand on the wall to steady myself.

"Where's me beer!" I called out, oblivious to the half full beer in my hand. "Oh! Found it!" I chuckled and gulped down more beer. The cold liquid slid down my throat and I loved the feeling.

Harry was walking around with only a pair of briefs and I looked down at my own clothes, noticing that I too only had a pair of Calvin Kleins on. When did I take off my clothes? What was I even wearing?

"YOUUU DON'T KNOOOWWW YOUR BEAUTIFFUUUULL!" Zayn screamed from on top of a dresser, using his own beer bottle as microphone. He threw the bottle down and it shattered right before he fell off the dresser and laid on the ground laughing.

I grabbed another beer, throwing my head back and releasing another round of laughter. I tried to walk forward but fell over again. This time I didn't try to get up.

"I love me beer. Me beer. Me beer. I love me beer," I sang and tipped the bottle to my lips. It spilled all over my face and went up my nose because I didn't sit up first.

I laughed harder than I should have in that condition. I drank beer after beer, day after day, not even thinking about the consequences that could come out of it all. I was living young and wild and free. I didn't think about my actions. I was part of One Direction, on top of the stairs and on top of the world. This was living. This was life.
