Everyone rushed back to their respective seats as soon as they heard it. All of them, but two. They kept on talking oblivious of their surroundings. Finally when the teacher entered, they had to get on with the class. With sad parting messages, they took their allotted places, away from each other which were given to them deliberately.
"Everyone open your books to page number 23, quickly." Said the teacher, starting the third Monday of the last semester before graduation.
