You heard a book drop behind you. That better be Penelope dropping a book just to get my attention and not Brazen making a mess. "Holy shit." I'm wrong. That's not Penelope 'or' Brazen. "So fucking cool" Oh no, someone else is here too. Greeeaaatttt. So much for keeping White Lion a secret to whoever it may be. Turning around as you held your wound, you came to see that it was in fact....

Present:

Mj and Brandi. Mj was the one who dropped the book but before you could start talking, they did. "That's so cool!" - "Yeah! So having these abilities they said, is it true?" - "Can you read minds?" - "Ooo let's talk about fashion sense because Oof, you're killing it." Of course Brandi said that last one. "Guys, to answer your questions.. it'll have to be Yes I do have abilities and no I can't read minds, but thanks about the fashion part." You told them as you took off your White Lion headpiece and placed it on your bed then you removed the mask that covered your nose and mouth.

"While I change from my suit back to my clothes, you both can ask one question." You spoke as you turned to your closet and started to take off the top piece with the door covering you. Brandi went first. "Does anyone know? About you being White Lion of course." She said and you responded with a quick "Yes. My guardians." Now getting fully dressed up and only missing your socks, you started to put your suit away. "How come you didn't tell us?" Mj asked and your breathing hitched and you froze for a second before closing the closet door and sitting on the bed. They knew something was up when you didn't answer quick like you did with Brandi's question.

"Long version or short." You asked her as you finally spoke through the silence. "Short. You don't have to tell us everything I'd you don't want to and we don't like invading your space so go ahead." Mj admitted in all honesty. Nodding your head, you started to speak. "You both have to keep my identity a secret. You can't go running around telling people who White Lion really is. It's not safe. Especially for me." They both nodded their heads and said in unison, "We won't tell. Secret's safe."

That's when you let out a breath and started to explain. "I was held in a facility with bad people. Very bad people who only experimented on me and wanted to use me for my powers. Anyway, I had two siblings..." - "Had?" - "Yeah I believe they're dead now due to what I hear in the news." You sigh then continued "They also had abilities and so when my now guardians helped me escape, they took my far away from that facility. If they know I'm here... it won't be good. That's why I've kept it as a secret and haven't told anyone. The only two people to really know about me are in fact my guardians, Penelope and Brazen." Both Mj and Brandi gave a reassuring nod and smiled softly. "Are You alright though? Where did you go that you came in late?" Mj asked and that's when you told her about Green Goblin and what you did at night when you're done with work.

"Your injured (Y/n/n.)" Brandi pointed out and you touched your cheek. "Oh.. yeah.. I got cut. I need to clean that up and my arm." - "Wait you have another wound?" Mj asked and you moved your shirt down a bit from your shoulder to show them the wound on your right bicep. "We'll help you clean that up." - "you guys don't have t-.." - "We want to." Mj answered and got up getting some medical supplies from your bathroom. So while you sat there, you took off just the arm part of the shirt to let her fully see the wound.

"Wow.. its a bit deep." Mj said when she saw the wound on your arm as Brandi was cleaning the one on the left side of your cheek. "Thank you guys and yeah, he was throwing metal ninja stars at me." You said. "Metal ninja what now?? You need to be careful (Y/n). If you said that he's after you then that's a lot of people who are out to get you." Mj said and Brandi added "These bad people from the facility, Green Goblin... I mean, who else could be next." You knew they were right but you had to stop him before he hurts anyone else. "So what were you guys doing before I got here?" You tried to change the subject which successfully worked. "Reading but we can sketch on our sketchbooks if you would like instead." Mj said and Brandi nodded once they finished with your now bandaged wounds. "I'd like that." You said.

"Girls! Dinner!" Brazen yelled from the kitchen as Penelope served the dishes out and placed them on the table. "Come on guys." You started to say as you got up then ran to the door saying "last one has to tell me their crush's name!" You all laughed as you ran down the hall, down the stairs and into the kitchen out of breath. "Woah there race horses." Brazen said and you all smiled. Brandi was last when you turned around. "You'll have to give me a name when we're done with dinner and we're back in the room." You told her with your pointed finger at her and she nodded. "Alright alright. Let's just eat." She responded.

You all sat at the table. Mj sat on your right, Brandi on your left, Brazen across from you and Penelope on his left. It was quiet when you all started to eat before Brazen brought up a question "(Y/n), please explain to me how you have a cut on your cheek." He asked and both Mj and Brandi looked at you before they looked back at him "I was fighting a guy that called himself the Green Goblin after I saved civilians from a burning apartment complex and he managed to cut my cheek." You admitted and stuffed your mouth with Food hoping they would drop it.

"We told you to be safe." Penelope added and you nodded. "I know." You replied and Brazen then said "Since you said that out like if it was nothing, does that mean that you told them?" Both Brandi and Mj nodded their heads and Penelope asked "Are you two going to tell anyone?" - "No." They both said in unison and you smiled softly before taking a sip of your drink. Everyone at the table let out a sigh of relief.
