As you turned the corner, they were no where in sight. That was a good thing at the moment being. Footsteps could be heard heading down the other hallway on the opposite end. Maybe the went around quickly and they're checking to see if I'm down that hallway... I better get into class quick. Which is exactly what you did next.

Sitting down at your seat, you opened up your water bottle and started to drink. From all of the nervousness and action that just happened, it caused you to drink nearly half of the bottle.

With Peter sitting beside you, he decided to go ahead and pop the question but in a low whisper. "Are you Alright? Is something wrong?" Once you turned to look at him, you noticed the amount of worry that he held on his face. "I... I should be okay now. Hopefully- I-.. I'll explain later. It's not safe right now." She mentioned quickly and quietly.

Not only did Peter nod his head as a response but he went on to continue the writing he had started about the project. What you had to do currently were to draw the diagrams, find some pictures then help him out if he asked.

~ Time skip to school ending ~

"Want to tell me what happened earlier? Had me all worried if something happened to have you looking all spooked once you came back into class." Peter asked as he closed his locker. "Oh and I wanted to know if I can walk you home to your house." That last part made you smile softly.

"Yes Peter you can walk me home and not here. Too many ears, too many eyes..." you told him while scanning around. "Outside will be better." Was all you said before he nodded his head once again then followed her out.

After a while of silence between the two as they walked side by side, you decided to speak up but in a quiet tone that only he could hear. "I believe Hydra is after me.." she blurted out and he looked at her curiously. As if 'why'.

"For starters I absolutely cannot tell you my real last name. That's a bit no zone when in danger. If it's in fact them and I'm pretty positive that it must me, I don't want you in harms way. I'm already risking as much as I am now by even telling you, Ned, Mj and and Brandi who I even am." You spoke. "As a hero of course.." you added.

"You don't need to worry so much about me.." He told you in response as he stopped you from going any further. He had managed to dig down and pull out the courage bag as he gently grabbed your hand. "I'm already in harms way since I'm 'mister spandex' of course." That part had made you laughed softly but then you stopped took look back up at him.

"So..." you started to say quietly as the two of you had begun to walk once again. "As I left the classroom to grab a bottle of water, I heard a bang. As in like when you get really angry and hit the lockers sort of bang right.." that's when Peter nodded applying you to continue on.

"So I was thinking 'what was that' in my head just after I managed to get my bottle. That's when I heard people talking and during the time, no one was in the hallways. As in no other student besides me. Luckily they didn't come down the same hallway I was in..." you stated then continued to add on. "Other than that, I quickly hid myself from plain sight since they were passing by. Of course I didn't want them to see me and they didn't after. They sounded as if they were going around then heading down the opposite hallway so that's when I took the moment to dart straight for the classroom."

After you finished, you were nearly a block out away from your home. "I understand." Was what he told you. "They got you scared for the moment because you thought they were going to discover where you were hiding. With that being said, I think I should give you a walk home more often. For safety reasons of course." He replied with a smile.

You had to admit that his smile did in fact make you smile. It was big, warm and bright. He was like a Care Bear in one way if you were to think about it. Right when Peter was about the do something, May called him.

He took a second to respond to what she was telling him on the phone. You watched from a distance; not wanting to disturb him phone call. His call with May had went rather short then what you were anticipating. Turning to look back at you, he sighed lightly before telling you "Aunt May wants me to go home now." He looked a bit sad and that's when you went up to him and said "I'll be okay. Just run along before she gets angry." You told him.

Nodding his head, Peter left with a wide smile after you had given him a kiss on the cheek. After he was out of sight, that's when you made a b-line for your house.

It took about a couple of minutes tops to make it and by the time you had made it home, you rushed inside and locked the door. Brazen was home at the time while Penelope was out.

"What's wrong?" He asked once he saw how rushed you had been. "Two men came into the school while everyone was in class. I believe they were with Hydra." You spat out and that's when you saw him grit his teeth by the way his jaw had moved.

"You're staying here and not leaving for the rest of the afternoon just in case. If two men were at your school like you've said, that means Thomas can't be so far behind. Either I'll have to drop you off at school in the morning or Penelope but you're not walking on your own. This is just for now. As a precaution." He finished off as you sat down on the couch with a sigh. He on the other hand picked up the phone and gave Penelope a call just to inform her.

"Well today has been a day..." you mumbled quietly underneath your breath. It couldn't be heard by Brazen as he was still talking to Penelope.
