Chapter 46 ༈ On Air

Heads up: Natasha, Clint, Bruce, Thor and Tony are in the air on their way to the location.

A/n: I just wanted to announce that the next 4 upcoming chapters; including this one which is 5, will show what each group does and goes through once they land. I also wanted to announce that these last 11 chapters will in fact be the last of the book.

"These fucking Hydra Agents are really getting on my nerves.." Tony muttered but everyone were able to hear since the earpieces. Some agreed but were interrupted with Steve spitting out through his earpiece "language!"

Clint internally rolled his eyes knowing Steve cursed from time to time based on what Barnes and Penelope had told him. Brazen also mentioned it before but he wasn't one to complain since he had also swore before.

"Sorry Popeye the sailor man." Tony retorted to Rogers before Mj spoke up. "Natasha, Tony, Thor, Bruce and Clint. You guys are about 5 miles out and I already spot about 20 to 25 Agents on the rooftop of the facility."

"One of them is lit up orange." She also told him through the earpiece. Tony pulled up on his suit's screens a closer view at what Mj was seeing and noticed it was a military rocket launcher. "RPG!" He yelled and both him and the quinjet where both assassins were driving, split up in different directions to avoid the impact.

Although, the waves from the explosion that it did, rippled and pushed the jet as everyone on it held on. "Clint scan for an area to land!" Nat yelled as she then spoke to both Thor and Bruce. Moving the jet over their south end, she said "this is your stop boys" then they jumped out. Bruce becoming the Hulk once he landed.

"Want to get down there Nat while I'll shoot from above?" Clint questioned as she then nodded her head. Natasha placed her headset down, unbuckled herself from the seat and made her way towards the back. That's where her motorcycle was. She thought it'll be easier for her to drive around with it as she fought them.

Tony had already started to aim and fire his repulsers at the agents who were attacking with heavy artilleries towards him. Natasha hopped on to her cycle as she informed Clint that she was all set. That's when he flipped the switch before saying "give 'em hell."

With that phrase, he pressed the button and she was released. She accelerated her bike as it made contact with the rooftop and held her blade out to the side of her as she started to attack all of the agents who came at her.

Tony was firing at those who tried blasting him, Natasha was driving around the rooftop as she took out some agents as Clint from up top started firing the guns from the quinjet. One of the agents had managed to pop the back wheel to Natasha's cycle and caused her to hop off while it rolled off to the side.

"Nat are you alright?" Clint asked as she grunted lightly but confirmed that she was good. Standing up quickly, she started to fight hand to hand combat with the surrounding agents. Wasn't so long when Clint landed the jet and joined the fight alongside Romanoff.

"Glad to see you can join the fiesta" she stated to him with a slight smirk as she twisted a man's arm behind him. "Good to hear I'm not late. That'll be disappointing." He quipped back and smiled also as he shot a runner with his arrow before flipping another on their back.

Stark was able to take care of the heavy weaponries as he then landed on the platform a few feet away from the assassins as he continued to take some more incoming agents out before they attempted their attack.

"I don't know and I'm not sure where they're coming from but there's about 15 more agents coming from Stark's direction and Clint's." Mj spoke through. Clint was currently on the left side while Tony was on the right and Natasha was in the center.

All of the agents they had previously dealt with were now on the ground unconscious. Some dead due to the self inflicted wounds when they tried to fire at the current Avengers that they were against at the time. Didn't end up well for them apparently.

"Looks like they just can't get enough can they." Clint spoke and then Natasha replied as she started to reload her guns with "it's like that Britney Spears song. Hit me baby one more time." Right before anyone else could comment on what she said, she started to shoot at the first set of agents that came through the doorway.

There was a moment when both of the assassins had to take cover due to all of the bullets that were flying their way from more of the agents that came through. Luckily, Stark took note quickly and started to fire at the attacking Hydra Agents. A majority of them were down once Clint and Natasha got back up to continue.

"Thanks Stark." Nat said as Clint also said "yeah thanks Tin man." Tony internally rolled his eyes this time once hearing the nickname Barton had called him. The fight continued from there as more just kept coming.
