Chapter 33 ༈ Family Fun Time

Heads up: Even though Thomas has everyone on the edge of their senses, that doesn't stop the three of you from having a good time. Where would you three go? Or would you three even go anywhere? Maybe you all will stay home to be on the safe side but who really knows right?

'Sunday. A day where I just sleep in, rest and not worry about waking up so early just for school or to hear about how Brazen was stealing Penelope's Food. Man my pillow feels comfy..' You thought to yourself as you made yourself cozy in your bed.

It wasn't till that was abruptly interrupted by a loud thud downstairs. "God.. what are they doing now.." you mumbled into your pillow as you tried to go back to sleep. Didn't work when you heard another thud. "What in the name of-" you started to say but Willow hooted in another words saying not to finish the sentence.

"I don't wanna get up..." you complained into your pillow as you tried to move the blankets up and over your head to drown out the sound. That didn't help much either because Willow flew down from her pedestal and landed right on top of the blanket. "Willow pleaseeee... let me sleepppp.." you whines but that didn't stop Willow from hooting. "Okay okay fine. I'll get up." You spoke up and Willow flew back to her spot.

Uncovering yourself from the cluster of blankets you had on top of you, you sat up and stretched. You smiled to yourself when you remembered the day you had last night with Peter before it was interrupted by Brazen. Getting up from bed as you wore your Scooby-Doo pajama pants and green tank top, you ran your fingers through your hair before heading towards your bathroom to freshen up.

~ 3 Minutes later ~

Heading down the hallway to the stairs, you suddenly stopped when you heard the shuffling movements from before stop out of nowhere. The house was now silent. Not a noise was made and it spooked you. It almost felt as if you were only to hear your breathing and that's when you automatically assumed something happened to both Brazen and Penelope without you knowing.

"Braz?.... Pen?...." You said softly yet quiet enough that way if anyone had broken in, they wouldn't hear you. With your light footsteps creeping down the stairs, you kept your senses up just in case if you had to attack the perpetrator. Getting closer towards the bottom of the stairs, you heard a small creek noise.

Right when you were about to turn the corner to inspect who it was or where both of your guardians had went off to at the moment, someone jumped right in front of you. "SUNDAY FUNDAY!!" Brazen yelled and smiled as he threw some confetti at you.

The surprise jump in front of you, had startled you and nearly made you fall on your ass. "Brazen! It's not funday if you're going to scare me like that." You admitted and he get a bit bad over the whole situation that was happening with Thomas. Not to mention how they wouldn't let Hydra take you if it meant they would harm you. Which is the case in almost every case when you were over there. "Sorry (Y/n)." He told you with a sad smile and you gave one in return.

"Come on. Penelope has ideas of what we should all do today." He mentioned after a while and you couldn't help but nod your head then follow him over to the couch where Penelope was already waiting. He sat right beside you as Penelope sat across from you.

"Okay here's the plan.. ready?" She asked and both you and Brazen nodded your heads. "First we go Go Karting, we go bowling after that, we get some lunch at (your favorite restaurant), and after we do those we can go to the movies before heading home. "Sounds fun and fine by me." Brazen said and you replied "I'm excited! I'm going to get ready." After you said that, you jumped off the couch and ran up the stairs.

~ After Lunch and at the movies ~

There was no one else in the theater besides you, Penelope and Brazen. Penelope sat to your right while Brazen was on your left. "Hey! That's not fair!" He yelled at the screen. "You can't just get away with that white haired man!" He yelled afterwards and you couldn't help but laugh when Penelope tried telling him that it was just a movie. The three of you were watching The Hobbit and it was at the part when Gandalf left the group in search of something. It wasn't till Brazen threw his popcorn container at the screen when Penelope started to laugh.

This time it was you trying to calm him down. "Brazen! Look, it's just a movie okay? They're actors and you just threw half of the popcorn away so thanks to that you giant." You told him and he glared at you for a second before laughing. "Yeah I guess you're right and don't worry. I'll get another popcorn box." - "Bowl Brazen. Another popcorn bowl not box." You replied and laughed at him again which he joined.

Brazen was fast asleep in the passengers side while Penelope was driving and you were lying across the backseat, thinking about everything that had happened throughout the day. You started laughing at how you kept getting past Brazen at go karting then how Penelope tripped and slid down the alleyway during bowling. Although she didn't get too far because Brazen grabbed her hand and pulled her back.

"Today was fun Pen." You mentioned as she started to reverse the car into the garage before responding. "I agree. I think part of the eventful day made this big bird so tired he just fell asleep on the way here." Nodding your head with a smile, you started to shake Brazen awake once the car was parked. "Brazen. We're home. Come on." You said and he jumped up saying "cows and monkeys!" Both you and Penelope started laughing again.
