Chapter 26 ༈ Girl Power

Heads up: The four of you (Brandi, Blossom, Mj and yourself) go out for a girls night. A night full of fun. You all deserve it after all the drama and everything that you've been through. Will anything ruin it?

"Looks like you didn't get to see Peter's group perform." Mj teased and you rolled your eyes playfully. "Shut it Mj. As much as I wanted to, his group didn't get called and class was over." You admitted and as you both were heading out into the hallway from the locker room, Blossom called out. "Hey guys! We should all have a girls night today. Me, You, (Y/n) and Mj! It'll be fun." She said as she motioned to the three of you, Brandi, Mj and yourself. "Sounds fun." Brandi and Mj said in unison and you added in. "Yeah. What time?" She thought for a bit before finally asking "How's 5? There's this place I want to show you guys. I used to hang out there all the time. I'm just hoping it's still there." She mentioned. "Alright. That's good for me. What about you guys?" You stated and Mj nodded her head then Brandi. "Ok"

•< Time Skip to the End of School >•

Walking out of the school doors after saying bye to your besties, you were going down the steps when you felt a small tap on your right shoulder. Looking over, you saw no one then realized it was a trick and rolled your eyes laughing. You turned your direction to the other side and saw Peter. "Oh hey Pete. Cool trick you had there. The whole shoulder tapping thing." You said and he chuckled then smiled, "Yeah. I-i.. was wondering i-if I could w-walk you home?" He asked stuttering a little bit which you found adorable of course. "Sure, But you know I don't live so far away right?" You said and he nodded "I know. Just wanted to walk with you." He replied and a couple of minutes into the walk home, you could tell he was thinking about something but was debating on asking it to you.

"Hey Pete." - "Hm?" - "What's your mind? You look like you want to ask something but then you're not sure if you should. I get the same what sometimes so it's really nothing then you don't need to tell me. I was just wondering." You asked and said to him. He nervously rubbed the back of his neck then stopped in his spot looking at you. Noticing, you stopped as well and looked at him with an eyebrow raised. "I-I.. Uh.. was wondering if you um.. would l-like to go out and grab something to eat down at the deli t-tomorrow with me a-after school? You don't have to of course. You're prob-.." He was going to continue but you smiled and cut him off. "Peter I'll love to. I'll meet you by your locker tomorrow after school?" You asked and he nodded with a smile laced across on his face. You both made it to your house and waved goodbye. "See you tomorrow Pete." You said "See ya." He said. You didn't see him when you went inside but he left down the sidewalk with a little happy skip in his step.

"Pen! Braz! I'm heading out with my besties! I'll be back soon!" You yelled and they yelled back in unison "Okay! Keep in touch!" - "I will!" You responded and headed out. Girls night right? So I hope what I'm wearing is fine. You hanged clothes because you didn't want to go in the same school clothes. Little did you know, the rest of the girls did too. They also didn't want to wear the same school clothes. You all decided to meet near a clothing store by the name of Clarke. (What you're wearing displayed in the picture below.)

Arriving at the store, you saw Mj and Brandi waiting for you and Blossom. "Hey girls!" You yelled at them and they both hugged you but then you asked "Where's Blossom?" And it was almost as if it was on cue that she showed up driving her car. "Hope in bitches we're gonna have fun!" She yelled and we all laughed but got into the car. "Woo!" Brandi yelled as she sat up front next to her girlfriend. You and Mj were in the back. The car was a convertible so the hood was down and the air brushed past everyone's hair while Blossom drove with the music up.

Looking around at your surroundings, you noticed that it was an open field with a van that looked as if you could paint it up and it'll be just like the Scooby Doo van. Blossom drove up towards the van and parked the car. "Come on girls. This is the place I was talking about." She said and got out. Everyone followed along and minutes later, you all were sitting on the top of the van. (From left to right based on the pick) Brandi sat towards the far left then went Blossom, Mj and you. What made the moment better was the sun setting in the distance making the sky look a different pastel like color. "Oh hey guys, guess what." You started to say and they all looked at you waiting for an answer "Peter asked me if I wanted to go out with him for something to eat after school tomorrow." You mentioned and you swore you heard Mj squeal. "Omg Mj, breathe." You said and laughed.

"You never did that before." - "You're right, I'm just happy that you got asked by your crrruuusshhhh." She said and you rolled your eyes but Blossom and Brandi joined in. "Ooo.. a crush? Okay that needs to happen." Blossom said and Brandi could be heard laughing next to her. "What do you mean?" You asked. "What do I mean?" She said in a pretend shock tone "I mean that you two should totally get together." She continued then added "I know I've only known you all for not that long but I find it cute." Great, now Blossom is in this too. You thought and laughed closing your eyes thinking about the thought. The four of you just sat there with smiles etched across your faces watching the sunset until Blossom grabbed Brandi and Mj's hands. Then Mj grabbed yours and everyone raised them up to the sky. That's when Blossom yelled out loud "Girl Power! Woo!"
