Chapter 22 ༈ Healing

Heads up: Spider-Man brought you home but still doesn't know your identity. Will he find out? Or will Brazen and Penelope come in time so he doesn't find out?

The owl made a sharp turn down an alleyway and still holding you in his arms, he turned down the alley. It wasn't till the owl made a right turn down a familiar street. "Isn't this where (Y/n) lives?" He said and the owl gave a hoot before flying straight towards a house. It wasn't till we got closer when I found out who's house it actually was. The lights were off but light in the front was still on. "(Y/n)'s House?" He mentioned.

Present:

With you in his arms unconscious, he walked up towards the house. He was going to knock when he heard a voice from behind him. "Hey! Thank you!" Yelled Penelope as she ran over and Brazen wasn't so far behind her. "Uh.. y-yeah.. you're welcome." He started to say as Brazen took you into his arms now.

Penelope opened up the door and held it for Brazen to come in. Spider-Man took one last look in confusion before webbing away. He stood at a nearby rooftop for a minute seeing Penelope turn on the lights from inside the house after closing the door and seeing a shadow of what he figure would be Brazen walking past the windows. I'm-... are they hiding something? Is (Y/n) hiding something? Then again I wouldn't blame her if she was considering I am the Spider-Man. Was what he thought as he looked a bit longer but left because he didn't want to seem like a creep.

~ In the House ~

Penelope walked into your room where Brazen had just placed you with bowl of water, a washcloth, some bandages and needle with thread. "Brazen I need a basket for her suit do I can wash it afterwards." She told him as he was now wearing your Lion Headpiece he loved and placed your mask on your desk. Nodding his head, he left the room to fetch the basket.

Penelope removed the blade from your leg and started to change you into something comfortable so it'll be better for the both of you. Not only would you be comfortable but it'll be easier for her to work with on your wounds. Brazen entered to room after Penelope finished changing you. He took the suit and placed it into the basket then went over to sit next to her. "What would you like me to do?" He asked Penelope as she tended to your wounds.

She glanced over to him then responded "I need you to get the blood bags Willow brought back of (Y/n)'s and get an IV connected to her arm. We need to make sure her blood gets back into her system and we have her hooked onto an IV so it could help her." Nodding his head once more he started to do the task. "You're lucky that we have IV bags in the storage cooler." He started as he now hooked it up to the metal pole and carefully placed the needle connected to the tube in your arm. "All set Penny. Are you done with her wounds? How is she looking right now?" He asked.

It was clear that he was just as worried as her but he was the one to show it then her. She tried her hardest to keep a calm look as she finished up the bandages. "Yeah. She should be alright now. Her pulse and wounds are in good shape." She mentioned as she looked at you with her eyes filled with worry. "It's okay Penny. We've done our best and the Goblin has been dealt with. I am not sure what shall happen to his son but I'm positive he will be okay." He said as he placed a hand on her shoulder for reassurance.

Penelope glanced up at him with a small smile as she then glanced back over at you. You were still unconscious but getting better. "I should get her suit cleaned up." She started to say but when she reached for the basket, Brazen grabbed it first. "I'll clean her suit. You just go inform her friend Michelle that she is doing alright." - "Thank you Braz and I will." She replied as she then stood up and walked out of the room.

• < Time Skip to Later after Dinner > •

Michelle was notified and said that she was going to be right over to see her along with Brandi. Penelope didn't even question it knowing how they had both knew about your secret identity. They were happy that your best friends knew but at the same time they wish they didn't for your safety and for their own.

You were now awake but felt weak, even though you heard that you were getting better. There wasn't much you could do at the moment since you had to stay in bed and heal. Penelope would come in once or twice to try and help by speeding up the process with her own ability. Then there was a knock on your door.

"Come in." You said to whoever was at the door. Part of you started to think that it was probably Brazen again trying to cheer you up by doing something funny. It wasn't Brazen though. It was Mj and Brandi. The both of them smiled at you as you were smiling back at them in return. "Hey guys! I'm so happy to see you both!" You said happily and they came over.

"So are you sure you're doing better?" Mj asked you again for the 10th time and you chuckled after nodding. "Yeah I'm doing much better." - "I'm sorry I haven't been around as much. I've been busy." Brandi apologized for the 4th time too and you shook your head. "That's okay. As long as you came to see me." You mentioned to her with a small smile.

"Penelope said I have to stay home from school tomorrow or at least part of it while I'm still healing. She's not exactly sure at the moment but I'll let you both know when the news comes in." You also added and they both nodded. "Good because I missed you in class and no I'm not saying that again just for you to record it." Mj pointed out with her index finger at you. "Fineeee.."
