Chapter 47 ༈ South End

Heads up: Thor and Bruce landed on the area they were assigned. Instead of swiftly, it ended up with Banner landing on his face. Will someone unexpectedly appear?

A/n: I just wanted to announce that the next 4 upcoming chapters, will show what each group does and goes through once they land. I also wanted to announce that these last 11 chapters will in fact be the last of the book.

"Thanks for the swift drop off" Bruce mumbled through his earpiece as he was laying on the ground. "Not a problem Banner." Nat replied as Clint then spoke up. "Blame the explosion for causing the jet to swerve."

"Yeah yeah..." he muttered as he started to get up. He was wondering how come Hulk didn't come out knowing that he was pissed off. "Hulk... you gotta help me here bud. I'm trying to help with the fight and you're being a big baby." He added into the muttering.

Thor was ready for a fight once he stood up in his stance with electricity flowing throughout his body. He glanced over at Banner who was struggling a bit. "Are you alright there doctor?" He questioned and he saw Bruce nod.

It wasn't till a prisoner was released by Hydra along with 35 or more agents when Mj muttered "I swear it's like they multiply or something. How filled is that facility?..." she asked towards the end a bit more quietly.

The prisoner smiled at the two Avengers and then started to shift. "What in the name of the nine cosmos?" Thor started to speak as the prisoner just then started to form into a rather large black wolf like creature. It roared at them. It wasn't till it started to charge when hulk finally emerged and grabbed onto it. "Bad kitty." He said as they started to fight hand to mouth.

Thor started to attack the agents who were trying to fire their weapons. As he shot a strike of lightning on one side, he got a couple of hits from behind. Hulk was busy with the huge wolf like creature as agents started to pile on top of Thor. A couple of mean started to fall from him. That's when most of them were off, Thor looked over.

"Missed me brother?" Loki announced as he made an entrance by flipping two daggers around his hands before catching them. "Loki! This is an unexpected surprise." Thor started to ask as he then added. "Why are you here?"

That's when Loki answered. "I love a good fight. That and I want to help with your rescue mission on getting the young Maximoff." Thor punched a man before speaking up. "How do you know about the young Maximoff?"

"That implication can be dealt with after our fight." Loki implied as he flipped then rolled past a man before stabbing him and hitting another with his helmet. "That felt good to do." He muttered as he continued to fight.

There was a moment when Hulk was able to get the creature down for a minute before he saw Loki and grunted. "Puny god." He mentioned to Loki. The mischievous god just smirked back in return before replying "Green beanstalk." Hulk didn't like that but that was when the creature he was fighting with got back up.

Loki chuckled at the giant's reaction as he went to go help Thor. Wasn't till Tony spoke through the earpiece upon hearing about Loki's entry when he said "Delighted for you to join an extravagant party Reindeer Games."

"Mortal can.." Loki was only able to get out when he was then given orders. "Are Thor and Bruce able to withhold the amount of guards?" Steve questioned and Loki confirmed they were. "Peter and Pietro need your assistance." Rogers stated then Loki asked in return.

"Who are the mortals?" Was what was heard and Buck explained in brief words. "A kid and a twin who's a speedster. They're located on the West side of the building. Based on your location, that'll be East for you."

With that Loki was able to teleport there. Meanwhile, Thor was electrocuting some more agents as he knocked others out. Hulk finally was able to knock down the creature after throwing them towards the rock like wall of the mountain that had happened to be nearby.

The creature wasn't in fact dead, but unconscious. Thor started to finish up on his part when Hulk started to go towards the creature once more. At the moment, the wolf like beast was changing back into its human form.

Hulk was about the slam his fists down at the now human but Thor quickly stopped him by pulling him back. "Hulk Stop you moron!" He yelled at Hulk and Hulk replied by saying "but it was a big bad monster."

"That monster is now human. You don't hurt such creature for foul behavior. No smashing." Thor instructed in almost a father like tone. He was strict about but he just placed the finger he used to gesture at the situation.

"But Hulk like smashing" Hulk replies a little sad. "You can smash all you want but do not smash that male. He was a wolf creature. He was controlled." Thor stated as Hulk slowly nodded his head. "Cheer up. Angry girl will be arriving to a party of (y/n)'s welcome home surprise."

Unfortunately, the moment was stopped as soon as 10 more agents were seen. As Hulk fought towards his right and Thor to his left, they were like a badass duo no one would want to miss out in. "HULK SMASH WHACK A MOLE." He yelled out as Thor finished up.

When they were all cleared out and managed to deal with everyone on the South end, Bruce was able to change back to a normal; his scientist self. Thor took notice after knocking out a guy then walked over. "We did it!" Bruce stated as he went to go hug the god. "Uh yeah we did it. Yes!" Thor replied to Banner's statement.
