Peter's POV (this is a one off thing)

My heart is beating out of my chest. This can't be good. I think to myself as I get a police escort to the Rosemere mental institution. I knew I shouldn't have trusted Uncle Loki, I should've stayed and watched vines with Shuri. My hands are shaking uncontrollably. I had seen this place a few times now, but never been inside. That's what scares me the most, not the police, but all the insane people in here. Loki and his friends were an exception, everyone else was nuts. I even heard that someone was in there for murder!

The unforgiving gates swing open, engulfing me inside, making me wish I never agreed to help them escape. When I get into the main complex, I am greeted by a woman, who seems nice enough, but I can tell her smile is fake. "I'm Jacquie." The woman says, extending a hand to shake. No wonder not very many people like her. "Peter," I say, shaking her outstretched hand. "Peter Parker." Jacquie leads me into a small interview room, exactly like the one's that you'd see on Law and Order or something, and I was kinda waiting for the iconic dun dun. A police officer came in shortly after, sitting on the chair across from me. "Peter, isn't it?" He says, eyeing me up and down sternly. I nod my head, he pulls out a pen and notepad. "I'm Officer Stump." He says with a very small smirk. "Do you know why you're here?" I shake my head, I have a vague idea, but I don't want to say anything unless I get into more trouble than I need to. "Well, Peter, you're here because you helped these people escape." He hands me pictures of Frank, Gerard, Gracie and Loki. "Now, thankfully three of these people have been captured, and we need your help to find the last one." Is he actually asking me to turn against my friends? I shake my head. "I don't want to do this." I say softly. "Don't worry, we wont hurt anyone." He says, lying through his teeth. "I'm sorry, but I wont do it."

Jacquie intervenes before he can react, he slides me his card though. "If you change your mind, call me." He says, getting escorted out of the room. On the ride home, I sit in the black of the glistening black car, folding the edges of the card and thinking about what the Officer had said. I sigh, maybe I would change my mind, maybe I wouldn't, who knows at this point.
