Third person POV (Wow, this is new)
Gerard and Frank sit on the edge of their large bed, both of them holding a box that contains things from their previous lives on earth. "What do you think is in here?" Frank asks Gerard with an expression that resembles fear, with a hint of excitement. Gerard shrugs and holds the box, placing his hands on the front of it and balancing it on his lap, Frank copying him and continuing to look at Gerard, smiling slightly. "Let's open them on the count of three." said Gerard, the suspense killing him. Frank nods and Gerard begins to count. "One, two, three." Gerard says, both of them opening the boxes at the same time. Frank looks over at Gerard, looking slightly saddened from what was in there, Gerard not really caring about what was in his, only really caring about Frank. "You okay there?" Gerard asks, Frank nodding, tears in his eyes. Gerard moves the box off of his lap, wrapping his arms around him, Frank hugging him back, burying his face into Gerard's chest, feeling a odd sense of security, a calming feeling that nobody he had ever been with before had given. "I'll b-be okay." Frank chokes out, Gerard cupping Frank's face. "Are you sure?" Gerard says, looking deep into Frank's sad eyes. Frank sighs, putting the box aside. "Yeah, I'll be fine." Frank says, sounding more certain this time without the box full of emotionally harming things. Gerard holds Frank's hands, lacing their fingers together. "You do know you can talk to me." Gerard says, getting a weak smile from Frank. "I know, I know, j-just. . not right now." Frank mumbles. Gerard nods. "Only when you want to, there's no point in trying to get you to talk when you don't want to." Gerard and Frank lay down together, hugging one another, both of them silently accompanying and loving one another.
------
Grace sits on the edge of her bed, staring at the beige, boring box, her name scrawled on the side with a Sharpie. She sighs, she didn't want to open it, but she wanted to know and remember what she had lost, nobody had ever talked about anybody's past, and just like everyone else, Grace needed to know why she was the way she was, even if that meant opening this box and getting consumed by it's contents. She didn't think she was emotionally ready, in fact she knew she wasn't ready for what lurked beyond the boring, beige lid, what secrets lay just beneath the outer shell of this box that seemed to be controlling her life right now. Grace sighed and put her head in her hands, rubbing her eyes and sighing. If only there was an easier option to find this out, like getting told, not having to look through all of this, she thought, thinking that it was probably best that she didn't think or know about this yet. This pain in her head was ripping her apart, she had two different parts of her brain, fighting against one another, both of them drowning out all rational thought. "Grace." Loki says, bringing her mentally back, Loki was good like that , he could make all thoughts in her head disappear, good or bad. "Want to go to dinner now?" He asks, motioning out the door. "Gerard and Frank are coming too." Grace stands up, walking towards Loki. They link arms and walk out, Gerard and Frank holding hands close behind them.
