YESTERDAY I REALIZED I MESSED UP THE MIDTERM EXAM DUE DATE. IT WAS THE DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY. I DID NOT KNOW HOW THAT HAPPENED.
I AM NOW ESCAPING REALITY READING AND DAY DREAMING.

Contrary to myths and folklores werewolves don't go insane under the full moon. Nor do the majority of werewolves have an insatiable sex drive as big as a mountain and as hungry as a raven. Their population were just above the minority's. Those minority's were species hiding away their strangeness under the modern world. Although it was not out of safety for they were stronger than the ordinaries.
No.
It was too intimate for themselves to show their forms to those they do not consider close family.
Just as how werewolves showed themselves to their pack-mates but to the outside they showed only their human forms.
They wore the looks of the ordinaries for convenience. Though, they themselves knew that they were different and many that encountered them knew.
Their presence were oppressive. Their powers and strengths were not something to underestimate.
Acir was a thriving country amongst others. Despite the majority of the population of some billion of ordinaries. They were a society of progress and cleverness. The trait of a beta in them was prominent. Flexible in mind and hungering for more knowledge of the world. Many admire this, even the Alpha werewolves. The ordinaries were like ants in the eyes of the few extraordinaries. Humans with dull senses and weak strength yet they worked to death just to adapt and survive.
There are a few known extraordinary beings known to humans.
Werewolves, Forest Spirits, Water-flippers, and Angels.
Werewolves were wolf shifters. They were loyal and hierarchical. Maybe because they have more contact with humans, they were generally popular and their loyal natures makes it hard for humans to be too weary of them.
The other species were another story.
Forest Spirits were ethereal but dangerous. You will not know you were their preys until your last breath. They can lure you in with a pretty light but can suck you dry the moment you fall into their nests. It was common for humans to be well prepared if they planned to travel through any forests. If they had the idea to destroy the forests. The spirits of that forests will turn on them.
On the other hand, Water flippers were beings with half human features and half with fish scales. They were the worst predators. If caught in a net, they will play dead until the last moment of inattentiveness, they will gorge on blood bones and tender meat. Leaving nothing behind.
As for the Angels, they were winged creatures that were similar to humans but more stronger and vicious in nature. Luckily, they were reserved creatures not willing to come out of their nests.
Gaines was born in the furry four legged community. Not yet knowing he was not reborn in the same world with the same common sense.
He will learn soon.
He was no longer human. Strong but weak. An omega.
Alphas.
Betas.
Omegas.
Nobody questioned the wisdom those three words held.
Alphas were born to rule. Their power and strength can change their state of mind. They could be wise and merciful but can be vicious and possessive. They were creatures of envy and fear. Envy from the betas and ordinaries and fear from the omegas.
Betas were there to keep the order and balance. Cleverness and a sense of duty. When their time comes, they must be there for their role is important to keep the survival of a pack.
Omegas were there to tame the nature of Alphas. Their nature were made just to be that. Submit to them and cater to their needs. Their very nature are delicate and yet very essential. They can produced strong offsprings.
A pack is a big family.
A pack of werewolves were satisfied if their tight knit families were well.
In a particular pack of werewolves two alphas were born. The first came and showed promise. The father trained him to be vicious but also to gather its own wisdom. The second came as a surprise but the alpha father was proud for his strong genes. His mate expressed the weariness of the pack to him. They said it wasn't a very good thing to have two alpha wolves together in one territory. Both may end up fighting to dominate each other and proof their own worth to rule the pack. Alpha wolfs despise each other if they were in the same space. It was one reason that an Alpha son and father might have a delicate relationship. An alpha hates their authority questioned nor do they find it acceptable to follow orders. They feared future conflicts. The father did not care much. Who is stronger from the two and who is weak. That was all that mattered.
Judd Demis was more care free. As the second son, his mother pitied him and coddled him. He was not very close to his eldest brother who was more quiet and reserved but he looked up to him. He wants to be as strong as him but he did not want to be the Alpha of the pack. He dared not touch those thick contracts in his father's office. He would like to wake up late at noon. Enjoy the sun in the forest, run around in the cool wind and go back to sleep. No worries. No way can he handle pack complaints and other headache inducing problems.
For the first son, he had no choice but bent under his father's wishes. As soon ad he turned at fourteen, he was sent to an Alpha academy to get world knowledge. There were future Alphas worth allying with from all over the world.
When he came back, he was a cold eighteen years old boy.
Mo was different than before.
Less close.
Less warm.
More vicious.
Judd realized some things won't remain the same.
Youth can fade and so will innocence.
