The wind whispers truth that cut into Another's pale face. What could be wings on his exposed back, snapped back, unfurling open like the maw of a monster gaping open for its food to fall forward. The deafening silence stretched out languidly as he leaned forward. His thick midnight silk threads of hair waved in the air playfully.
Cold cold cold cold cold cold cold.
Another's eyes glimmered like a jade liquid carefully covered by long dark lashes and pale delicate lids that pinked under the chill in the breeze.
The leaves waver and dip more truth in to the stream in the air and the trees creaked under their weight brushing by.
Preys.
Everyone of them all.
He can feel them. Hear them. Smell them all.
They came to him willingly. This forest was his!
One smelled funny but no matter, it will be in his stomach at the end of the night.
Another's lips stretched back and two fangs peeked through. The moon's slivers of light fell on him. He was wound around the tree.
50 feet.
His chest rose up in anticipation.
30 feet.
His forked tongue was like a slice of the midnight sky slipping out to taste again a bit of the fear yet there was more excitement and determination.
15 feet
His coiled body tightened around the trunk of the tree, scraping against the thick twisting branches of the ancient tree and loosen up like a rhythmic heart beat.
6 feet.
He snap forward swooping down to sink his fangs into tender flesh and thick fur. A painful snarl filled with indignation dissipates just as it rose like sand but more terrible screams followed echoing from the depths of the forbidden forest.
Another's pools of jade were shimmering with anger. His mouth curled up into a snarl.
That funny smell prey got away.
What clever thing, needs to be squeezed and eaten slowly in his belly. He hissed a promise venomously.
He slithered after it.
Silver. Gold. Pink. Red. Orange. Purple. Blu. Green. White. Grey. Black. Brown. So many more.
They were like ribbons in a tangled dance, wavering in the air, merging and separating, so long as time runs.
He followed one.
Dark red.
Dark dark dark red and cold purple. Slipping into darkness and light.
It did not take long for him to realize it was taking too long to catch it this way.
Impatient, he veer off, no longer pursuing the prey from behind. His wings began to sweep the air bending the trees as he rose up into the sky.
Another was going to play with this prey for long.
It took up his mating time with this chase.
He licked his lips that had dried blood on it.
"Omertaaaa!"
He rapidly fell on it. His tail squished it down on the ground which was soft from a little sprinkle earlier.
Another paused. Ignoring its struggle.
Another remembered someone called that.
In fact he can smell that thing coming.
"Another"
"Ssssttrrraaaa"
"No. He escaped himself. I did not lose him. May I have him back?"
"Ssssss"
"Ah. It may be because he is a Omega pregnant. I'm sorry to trouble you, Another"
His tail rose and fell down heavily on the pregnant Omega and then slither away.
"Ssss"
Ruined Another's hunting and mating.
Must pay!
He went back to his preys earlier. His scent was feint now but no one dared to come out and snatched his prey he had left out in the open.
"Another"
"Leave Another be. Another is feasting"
"Another, Sha is angry with Another"
"Another will eat Sa if  Sa say more"
He sniffed the air with arrogance as the female snake slither away in fear.
He bowed down and bit into the tender flesh that was furless except its head and wingless on its back. A two legged prey was an easy prey.  He curled around his favorite tree and covered his pinked chest. His wings were getting pink as well. Two wretched deformed wings.
He was full and he thought more about that strange smell on that weak prey though he had fur and claws like Omerta.
Omerta had green eyes from his mother unlike the yellowed eyed creature of his Sire.
They were both the same and not the same.
What was it?
He was stronger than Omerta.
