To the Rescue

"What do you mean, you remember everything?" Lorenzo asked.

"Uh, well. I mean--"

"We got frunk the other night and she blacked out. She didn't remember any of it, but now she does. I must of triggered a memory of some sort." I said, trying to look bored. Inside, I felt like screaming as fear trickled down my spine. I don't know why I am scared right now, but I am.

"Yes, Silver is right. I remember making out with another girl at a party and Silver triggered that memory." Autumn nodded. I was glad that she kept the story.

"Okay," Lorenzo took the hose from my hand, "what all happened at that party?"

Shit. "I remember starting out by playing beer pong and I got totally smashed at those few games. I continued drinking though and I remember this girl did a shot. I was holding a lemon in my mouth waiting for her to take it and lick the salt off of my lips." Autumn continued, "just stuff like that. Nothing big and nothing I regreted."

I smiled at her and she winked back. "Now, can I have a hit?" I cocked my head to the side and smiled at Lorenzo.

"Let me get some more. This one is pretty much dead." He said, taking the machine into the next room. He came back a few minutes later and set it on the table between everyone. "Want anything to drink?"

"Wine!" Autumn said all cheery.

"Anyone else?"

"Same for me." I nodded at him, then began to smoke some more. It tasted like Skittles and something a bit off. Lorenzo walked back into the room with two glasses of wine and handed them to us. I blew the smoke into his face and took a sip of the wine after words. It tastes like grapes from heaven. Which, it really could be considering who all walks on Earth... Cough cough, me, Couch cough.

"Well, this is delicous." Autumn said finishing her first glass already. "Can I have another one?"

"Slow it down a bit, cowboy." I set her glass down and slapped her hand when she reached for it. "Wine is supposed to be a sipping drink. You don't gulp it down; You are supposed to taste it and savour every moment of it."

"Don't blame me. It tastes delicous."

I took another breath of the flavoured tobacco before I said anything. I instantly became buzzed. I sat back against the back of the couch and put my arm behind Autumn. I started to get even more light headed and I knew Autumn was feeling the same way. She looked pale and when she turned to me, her eyes were blood shot. She began to say something but I couldn't register what she was trying to say because it felt like her voice was stuck in her throat.

I realized I was slipping between Autumn and I, due to the rings connection. I concentrated on staying out of her but was having difficulties. Autumn began to sway while sitting and finally collapsed on to my lap. I found it easier to stay as me now that she was asleep. I couldn't help but start questioning what was happening. I looked around and took notice that only Autumn and I had wine or even glasses for that matter. Not just that, I thought back and ever since Lorenzo came back with the new flavor, no one but me had smoked it so far.

I lifted my glass to my nose and swoosed it around before taking a sniff, like any human would do. The difference is, they wanted to know the smell while I wanted to know what smelled in it. I couldn't tell anything from the hookah, but I knew I didn't need to. The wine held everything I needed to know. What I needed to know was if we had been drugged, and sure enough, we were. I looked ebtween the guys, back and forth, and took note that if I was going to act, I better do it now. My vision was blurring around the edges.

I grabbed the machine, pretending to look at the gold, sparkly Ankh at the bottom. In one fluid movement, I was standing up and hitting Lorenzo's head. I missed and hit Johnnys shoulder. I reached for the wall to set my vision straight and to keep my balance, but I was being pinned down. I butted heads with Lorenzo and rolled him over. When I got ontop, I aimed for his nose but hit his neck in the adam's apple; he began choking and coughing. I kicked my back leg out in enough time to aim for the Fransicos golden gates. I rolled under the table, to the other side, when Johnny tried jumping on top of me. I took the time it takes to stand up, to my advantage. I grabbed the bottle of wine, and when Johnny was standing all the way up, I hit him in the shoulder again. I felt so dizzy I wanted to collapse on the couch.
