I sat straight up from where I was laying down, trying to take in my surroundings. Figure out where Fallon and Autumn were. They were both out of sight and my heart skipped a beat. If they aren't here, then they must be with Tessla.
In the dream, Fallon wasn't under her spell. Now that he is back in reality, could he still be under such a thing? Could he be hiding Autumn from me? Could Tessla have put me in a different dream and make me fight my way through? I had no answers other than I was alone and that I was underesitmated. That made me a threat to her. I could use that to my advantage.
Problem is, I have no idea where anyone is, unfortunately.
I stood up and sniffed the air. I could smell the anger and hatred flowing in the air, possessing it from any other emotions smells. It was almost so strong that I couldn't smell anyones scent. Except Autumns. I could smell her out in a crowd of Goblins. The smelliest supernatural out there.
I leaned forward, hoping I could hear her heart beat, but I could only hear the hearts beautiful music through the rings. I sighed and opened the library door, waiting for the next problem to come at me.
It never did.
I grabbed Evelyns knife and stalked the lower half of the mansion. The only thing I found, was the butler with his throat missing.
That didn't scare me, it just made my Guard stronger. When I was convinced no one other than me was down here, I began to climb the stairs.
My shoulder brushed the wall and I felt a tingle coming from it. I paused and laid my hand on the wall. I could see the whole house! It was like I was looking at a blue print and I could see everything, and most importantly, everyone. They were on the top floor in Tessla's room.
I saw Autumn set on the bed, tied down. Fallon was pacing the room infront of Tessla and Autumn. He kept shaking his as if trying to get rid of something. I knew, right then and there, he was still under her spell but trying to break it. If only I could help him. However, that wasn't my priority. My main goal was to get Autumn away from here. Whether or not I made it out, wasn't my concern. Only her.
Only my best friend's life mattered. Only Tessla's death mattered.
I pressed my hand up against the wall and tried pushing through. It wasn't like I slithered through the walls like a snake slithering across the desert. It was more like I went from one room straight to the next.
As if sensing me, Fallon spun towards me and started shivering in place. I knew he was fighting within himself. He was trying to take control again, but seemed to be failing when he fell to his knees and began growling at me.
Oh, how I wish I could help, Fallon. I sent him. It seemed to help because he stood up. Now matter how much I wished I could help, I knew I couldn't. I am sorry...
I threw my hand out and sent the dresser tumbling into Fallon. I threw my other hand across my body, again, sending the couch chair hitting him in the oppisite direction. They got him at the same time, smushing him like a furniture sandwhich. I tossed a lightening bolt at him just as he threw the furniture off and jumped up. His eyes darkened just as the bolt hit him. He screamed and flew into the wall, falling to the ground.
"Come on, pup. I don't have all day to kick your ass." I smirked. All I needed to do was knock him out again.
He started snapping his jaws and I could see his clothes stretching. I heard a tear and his clothes where off and his fur replaced it. Ah, and the battle begins.
"Oh, Fallon. Are you going to actually fight or chicken out?" Tessla yelled. I eyed her as her wings popped out.
So, maybe this isn't a battle. Just a full blown war.
