I've been lacking ideas and school is killing me, but of course I'm back with another stereotypical cliche.(because, I mean, what else would I write)

Lucas POV:

There is literally nothing i would rather be doing on a Saturday night. Shamelessly checking out your best friends brother just seems like the way to go.
Meet Ashley Stevenson. She's my ansoloute best friend, along with her girlfriend Samantha . She's been there for me when I've been beaten up by meathead jocks, and she's let me rant to her about stupid guys that break my poor little heart. The gay nerd and the lesbian cheerleader just so happens to serve as the best friendship duo there is.
Now, Meet Asher Stevenson. Ashley's  twin brother, and probably the hottest guy to ever set foot on planet earth. And no, I'm not exaggerating. He's actually that perfect.
A 6'4 Greek god, complete with gorgeous black hair, piercing forest green eyes, and a body that  would put an actual Greek god to shame. And let's not forget that he's the star quarterback. And lets just say that watching his ass in those tight football pants causes some issues for me down south...
He's just oh so perfect, but oh so...

Straight..

*sigh* The guy I've been crushing on for about 6 years just so happens to be the hottest, and straightest, guy I have ever met. Yeah, I'm talking about him having multiple girls fawning over every move he makes, and let's not forget the number of girls he brings home. Trust me, staying at ashley's when Asher has a girl over probably isn't the smartest thing I've ever done, but I mean liking a straight guy isn't very smart either.
And yes, Ashley does know about my little schoolgirl crush on Asher. She is completely nuts and constantly talks my ear off about how cute a couple we would be. I then always have to remind her about how straight he is. She never really listens though, she just gives me creepy little smiles and constantly acts like she knows something that I don't.
Like I said, she's just a little bit nuts. But nowadays, who isn't a little bit nuts.

So back to the present, where Ashley and I are currently sitting on her bed with her trying, but failing miserably, to get me to confess to her brother.

"C'mon Lucas, you gotta tell him sooner or later," she whines out while dramatically throwing her hands over my shoulders.
"Ash, even if I did tell him, nothing will ever come out of it, he'll just continue to be a jackass . He doesn't even know I'm gay for Christ sakes, and I don't need for him to have two new reasons for him to pick on me than he already does. Trust me ash, it'll just make things worse, and I  don't know if I can handle him actually hearing him reject me when I already know that he's nowhere near gay."
I let out a sad sigh and throw my arms around Ashley. We continue to just sit there, cuddled up while she continues to listen to my pathetic ranting.

"Lucas, I know it hurts. But holding it in isn't going to do anything. Maybe if you decided to tell him how you felt, you could get over him faster. But pining over him and giving him longing glances from afar isn't going to do anything. Maybe you'll be surprised and he'll confess his undying love for you," she finishes her long speech off with a little giggle.

I throw my head back and laugh a bit, but then that turns into a bitter smile .
"That's pretty funny ash,but let's face it; we both know nothing is ever going to happen," I finish with a sigh.
Ashley just gives another little creepy smile and cuddles up to my side again.
We continue to just lay there laughing over stupid joke and just casually having pointless conversations.
