Daniel sat quietly in his seat, feeling a bit lost and unsure of what to do with himself. He glanced over at Zack, who was sleeping peacefully, as usual, then turned his attention to Y/n. She had finally recovered from her fever, and a wave of guilt washed over him for not noticing it sooner. As he watched her chat happily with Jay, doodling in her notebook, he couldn't help but feel a pang of longing. He had missed her more than he realized.

"Daniel looks handsome today," one of their classmates murmured, drawing Daniel's attention back to the conversation happening around him.

"Yeah, there's definitely something about him today," another chimed in.

"He looks great!"

"Hey, I'm glad Y/n is okay. I should have brought her something nice today," someone else commented.

"Is it just me, or does she look even more dazzling than usual?"

The admiration in their voices was palpable, and Daniel felt a mix of pride and annoyance as his classmates gushed about Y/n. It seemed like everyone had something nice to say about her, and Daniel couldn't help but let out a small sigh. How did she manage to charm everyone so effortlessly? He wondered. Was it her infectious laughter, her warm smile, or maybe just her genuine kindness? Whatever it was, it made him feel oddly possessive.

As he continued to watch her, he couldn't shake the feeling that she deserved all the attention she received, but part of him wished he could be the one making her smile. Daniel couldn't help but admire her from afar, feeling both grateful for her presence and frustrated that he didn't know how to express what he felt.

Is it just me, or did Y/n get even prettier? I found myself thinking as I watched her from a distance. A wave of regret washed over me, wishing she had confided in me about being sick. I could have taken care of her, made her feel better. I was relieved nothing serious had happened to her the night before; she had handled that chaotic situation with Vasco like a pro, despite being unwell. It made me wonder how I could be as cool and capable as they were.

"Have you tried to make a difference?" Vasco's question echoed in my mind, striking a chord deep within me. Had I really tried? How could I learn to make a difference and overcome obstacles like Vasco had? The thought of becoming someone more admirable nagged at me as I pondered how to emulate their strength.

"Hi, Daniel! Good morning!" Zoe greeted me, her usual bright smile in place. She had quit broadcasting and streaming after the events of last night, shaken by the ordeal. I remembered how we had to escort her home, ensuring she was safe and sound.

"Zoe, are you okay?" I asked, genuinely concerned.

"Yeah, I guess there's no such thing as a free lunch! I ended up giving all the money to his father, except for the commission," she replied, scratching the back of her head sheepishly. It was good to see her recovering and doing something good after the chaos.

"Uhmm... I was wondering, where does your chubby friend live?" Zoe asked, suddenly curious. Her question threw me off balance; why was she asking about my other body?

"Oh, him? Why do you want to know?" I replied, my heart racing with unease. Zoe fell silent for a moment, then started hitting herself on the forehead, her expression flustered. Her reaction confused me even more. What was going on?

Why did I ask about him in front of Daniel? I must be nuts! Zoe thought to herself, feeling embarrassed.

"Hello..." Yui greeted me shyly, and I noticed the bruises on her face. I immediately recognized where they had come from. It felt awkward knowing the truth about her—that she was pretending to be sweet and innocent just to get closer to me.
