I was just minding my own business when it happened. The guards came crashing in, busting my doors down in the process. I had been in my room, I was barely 15 at the time. It had turned out, my parents had ratted me out to the alpha. They had no idea what chaos would ensue.
As the guards reached to grab me, it took over. My eyes blazed and I could feel the heat emanating from them. I jumped forward and ripped out the throat of the first one. The second one started spraying bullets, but I barely noticed the pain of them piercing my body. I ran towards him and bended the barrel of his gun upwards, before gouging out his throat with my claws.
I crouched in pain, my second shift coming quickly. In a matter of seconds I had grown three times my size, into a dragon with a wingspan just shy of 20 feet. He busted out of the house, and flew until he was above the clouds. “Walker, where are you taking us?” I asked. He only growled in reply. I was scared to say the least. He was taking us away from everything I had ever known, but we didn't have a choice in the matter. You see, our pack had a strict rule, in which breaking it resulted in death, no dragons permitted.
