I assume Brin and Trent must've given the wolves some kind of summary of our past, because on Monday, most of them regarded me with pitiful glances. Even Daniel, who I thought hated me, looked at me in understanding.

"So, they, uh, they told us what happened." Em says. We were sitting at lunch, and the table was a bit quieter than it normally was.

"And?" I say boredly, pretending it didn't bother me.

Maybe they won't care, Cole tells me. He had been silent towards me most of the weekend.

"And, I'm sorry you had to go through all of that." she continues.

"It's not really your concern." I bristle, why the hell was she apologizing? She had done nothing wrong.

She put her hands up, relenting. "Sorry." she muttered.

"I'll see you guys later." I say, getting up even though there was still awhile left of lunch. I figured I'd just head to my next class early.

"Wait, Warren, let me walk with you." Asher says, catching up with me in two seconds.

"Look, I just want to be alone right now, but I'll see you later." I tried to soften my words, so I didn't come off as angry. He looked hurt, but backed off and went back to his friends.

I was on my way to next period, the halls empty, when I'm pulled into the locker rooms.

"What the hell?" I turn around, after shoving the person off, and am met with Jacob and his cronies. I forgot he'd be back at school, in all honesty.

"Remember me, bitch?" he asks.

"Yeah, you got your ass handed to you." I say.

"Hold him down." he says, his face darkening. The other five guys surround me, holding me still, with my arms spread out. What the fuck? Jacob pulls a switchblade out of his pocket, and I get nervous. I struggle against the guys, but I'm met with resistance. I knew at least a couple of them were wolves, and maybe even a coyote, so in other words, I was screwed. They held me back, pressing their fingers into my skin painfully.

"Cry, bitch." Jacob says, as if I'd give him the satisfaction. He lifted my shirt up, exposing a lot of other scars, making me really self conscious. "Do these yourself?" he asks, making some of the other guys snicker. He drags the knife against my chest, and I start breathing heavily. All I could think of was living with Brin and Trent. Cole, however, wasn't freaking out and was keeping me calm.

I kick my leg up, hitting Jacob right between his. Hopefully, it really fucking hurt. One of the wolves, the strongest one, loosened his hold to almost nothing, as he went to help get Jacob back up. That was all it took, I wriggled out of the rest of their holds' and shot out the door, making sure to grab my backpack by it's handle before bolting. Once I get out, a lot of people are already going to their classes, so it's easy to loose his posse as I make my way to my class.

I sit next to Asher, nervous because at least two of the guys that were holding me would be here. "Why do you smell like that?" Asher asks, leaning over towards me.

I decide to play dumb, "Like what?"

"Like six other guys, and blood. Your own blood." he whispers, a little frantic.

"Nothing to worry about." I say while catching my breath. Maybe I shouldn't have ran the entire way here. I keep glancing at the door, until they walk in. One of them was human and the other was the coyote. The coyote walks over to me, and whispers in my ear.

"Next time, Jacob's just going to fucking kill you, and you know what? I'll help him you flea ridden feline."

I hear Asher growling lowly, low enough I'm sure the humans in the room couldn't hear him. "If Jacob lays a hand on him again, he's dead." Asher says, grabbing the guy by his collar. "You smell what I am?" The coyote nods his head vigorously, looking like he was going to piss his pants. "Then you know I mean it." He lets the guy go, and I turn to him.

"Thanks." I say quietly.

"I want him gone. He needs to be punished for hurting you." Asher says, clenching his hands. I put one of mine on his, covering it.

"Look don't kill the guy okay? He's an asshole but his death does not need to be on my conscious."

Asher chuckles, "I'm not going to kill him, I just want him out of the school."

"Same. He's so annoying, I don't understand. And Jacob scares me." I mutter the last part, forgetting he'd hear me. Supernatural hearing could be such a pain sometimes.

"Then let me protect you." Asher pleads, wrapping his hand around mine.

I blush a little, I'm not really used to a lot of affection, especially romantic affection. "O-okay." I stutter.

Asher smiles cheekily at me, "Can I walk you home?"

A/N
I know I don't really do these, but I was wondering if you guys wanted to do a Q & A
If you do comment your questions, if not don't worry about it! If I get enough responses I'll make a chapter for it, if not I'll probably just respond to any comments.
