Despite her weird dream, Wendy woke up with a pep in her step. Today would be the day She and Peter met the rouge Avengers. Although they had been pardoned for almost three months, Tony made them live in Stark Tower until he knew he could trust them. They are moved back into the compound last week. Wendy smiled. She would be able to meet her idols The Black Widow and the Winter Soldier. After saying goodbye to May, Wendy walked out of the door and started the familiar route toward her school. While she was walking, Wendy thought about the encounter she was going to have with the Rouges. Would they like her? Hate her?

By the time she came to her senses, Wendy was standing at the entrance to Midtown High.

Five more hours, then you're home free.

*****************
After a long day of avoiding Falsh and receiving mountains of assignments for spring break, Wendy walked through the halls of Midtown High to her last class of the day. She entered, making the bell with two seconds to spare and took a seat in the back next to her friend and High school mentor Michelle Jones instead of her usual seat up front next to Peter.

MJ is one of the few people who know about * ahem * Wendy's after school activities besides Ned, Pepper, Tony, and of course her cousin. " Hey M.J." Wendy greeted, she got a 'sup' in return. Wendy smiled and turned back towards the front and tried her best to pay attention to her last lesson of the day. After what seemed like hours, the bell rung.

After giving a wave to M.J, Wendy walked out of class and to her locker. She grabbed her stuff and turned around only to find Flash staring down at her.

To be honest, Wendy didn't feel up to dealing with Flash's BS. So she tried to sidestep him but Flash had other plans. He grabbed her shoulder and spun her around " Where do you think you're going squirt?" Wendy rolled her eyes, "Let me through Flash. I don't feel up for your games."

Flash narrowed his eyes and smirked at Wendy. He started gripping her shoulder so hard, that she was sure it was starting to crack. She may have powers, but Wendy was still a kid. And her petite size didn't help matters.

Wendy pried at his fingers, not using her full strength, of course, to try and get him off of her. If he keeps messing around, she will be late to meet Happy.

And Happy doesn't like tardiness.

Flash pulls his fist back, ready to strike until one of the cheerleaders calls him over. Wendy breathed a sigh of relief and gathered her things. She may not be popular, but thank god for the cheerleaders' obsession with her 'adorable' looks. A black eye would be hard to explain to Mr. Stark and Happy.

After collecting herself, Wendy ran out the door of Midtown High and around the corner to the black Audi that sat waiting for her. She opened the door and climbed inside next to her cousin. After making sure his passengers had on their seatbelts, Happy rolled up the divider and they were off.

After what seemed like hours of driving, and Peter's constant rambling, the car pulled up to the compound. The two kids waved goodbye to Happy and thanked him for the ride. After scanning their badges and saying hello to a few interns that they had worked with in the past, the two young heroes entered the VIP elevator. After scanning their badges again, Friday took them to the luxurious common room. While in the elevator, Wendy straightens out her navy blue hair with her hands and adjusts her green dress and gold bands.

It was pretty warm for a spring day, and Wendy decided to wear her favorite dress to impress her idols.

After exiting the elevator, Peter and Wendy walked into the common room. Standing in front of the common room entrance was Tony Stark Wendy and Peter's boss/Mentor.
Wendy thinks of Mr. Stark like an uncle, unlike her cousin who thought of him more like a dad.

The only reason Wendy didn't feel the same way was that she knew her parents were still alive out there somewhere and she wouldn't fill the hole in her heart that was meant for them just yet.

" Hey underoos, berry." Mr. Stark greets. He's been calling Wendy blueberry because of her blue hair since the day they met, but she didn't really mind at all.
" Hey, Mr. Stark"
" Hello Mr. Stark" Peter and Wendy greeted. Tony smiles at the two kids, then his face turned stoic. " I'm going to give you a bit of a heads up. They don't know who you are and that you're here. I'll introduce you and everything, but I can't promise that their reactions will be what you expect. So don't get your hopes up, alright kids?"
Peter and Wendy looked at each other and they give Tony a silent nod. He let out a sigh. "Alrighty then, follow me. "
