After that day Clara and the Night Fury was always together. Clara gave the Night Fury the name Toothless, because of what he could do with his teeth.
Clara was good at building things, so that Toothless could fly, she decided to make a new tailfin to him, lucky she was good at being invisible, and she was friends with the smith at the castle. So even putting her own life at risk, she enter the town and build a new tailfin to her friend Toothless.
The next day.
Clara enter the ditch, "Hey Toothless" she said and Toothless walked up in front of her "Look, I have breakfast" she said and put a basket down on the ground before she overturned it with her foot causing fish to felled out of the basket.
While Toothless began eating the fish, Clara walked over to his tail and put the tailfin on the left side of the tail before she tied it to the tail. Toothless lifted his head like he could feel the tailfin, he folded out his wings, before he jumped up in the air with Clara still sitting on the tail.
Toothless took off and tried to fly.
But instead they started to fall down, then Clara folded the tailfin out and Toothless fly high up in the sky.
"Is working" Clara said and turned the tail to the right and the same did the dragon.
They flew down to the ditch again "I can't believe is working!" Clara said.
Toothless saw Clara on his tail and threw her off, but when Clara felled off, Toothless crashed down.

So Clara could sit on Toothless and control his tail without slipped off, Clara made a saddle connected to the tailfin, she did that so she could control the tailfin with the stirrups. Clara took the saddle and show it to Toothless, he looked at her, smiled and stood in a position like a dog when it wants to play.

He then ran away, Clara chased him while she was holding the saddle.
After they had played, Clara put the saddle on Toothless's back and got up on him.

Day after day Clara learn to ride on Toothless, she had a paper she had made that shows how to control the tailfin.
Time skip...
A week later, Clara and Toothless was up in the sky, on their first real flying trip, "Okay we are going to take this nice and easy" Clara said and looked at the little piece of paper that was sitting on the saddle in front of her "Position four, no three" Clara said and move her left foot causing the tailfin to folded out, Toothless looked at the tailfin and then looked straight ahead.
They turned to the left and Clara looked at the tailfin, "Okay let's see if it can handle this" she said, and they fly straight down to the water, Toothless turned a little bit, so some of his left wing touched the water.
