6. Meeting with the kings and queens

The next morning.

Clara was standing over with Toothless and was tying a small bag to the saddle "What are you doing?" Caspian asked and Clara turned around to face him "I think I will fly around and look after the kings and queens of old, we need their help" Clara said "Shall I go with you?" he asked "No, I can handle it" Clara said and turned around "Okay then I will find a place, where we and the army can stay" Caspian said "Good, we need a place to be" Clara said, "Are you sure I shouldn't go with you?" Caspian asked "I don't need your help, I can handle myself, and by the way I have Toothless, he can take care of me a lot better than you" Clara said.

"What's wrong?" he asked, Clara turned around and looked at him "I don't understand that you believed in what uncle Miraz said about me being dead" Clara said "What do you want me to do, ride out and find proof?" Caspian asked "I would have done it" Clara said. 

Caspian looked at her as she got up on Toothless' back "Now that Miraz have tried to kill us both, do you still believe that he didn't killed your father?" Clara asked "Just because he try to kill us both, doesn't it mean that he killed my father" Caspian said and Clara rolled her eyes "I can't believe that after four years thinking I was dead, you still don't believe me, I hope that you one day will open your eyes and I hope when you do that, is not to late" Clara said angry, then Toothless took off and they flew up in the sky.

Toothless and Clara was flying up in the sky. 

Then Clara screamed with anger, Toothless think her scream was too loud so he try to pull his head a little bit back between his shoulder and try to shut his ears.

Clara stopped screaming before she leaned backward and lay her back on Toothless' back, Toothless pulled his head out and looked at her.

Clara was looking up in the sky while she sigh, she then took her left hand on Toothless' left hind leg "Don't worry Bud, I'm not going to let anything happen to you, I promise... And as long as you need me, I will never leave you" Clara said.

Suddenly they heard someone screaming, Clara got up and stopped Toothless "Did you hear that Bud, let see who it's is" Clara said, and they flew towards the voice.

A black bear ran straight towards Lucy who started running. Susan grabbed her bow and arrow and pointed towards the bear while the dwarf Trumpkin did the same thing, "Stay away from her!" Susan yelled as Edmund and Peter grabbed their swords and ran towards the bear, "Shoot Susan, shoot!" Edmund yelled. 

But then Lucy felled and the bear ran over to her, stood up on its hind legs and roared at her. But suddenly an arrow came flying and hit the bear right in its heart. The bear felled dead on the ground, Lucy looked at the arrows feathers, it was white with a black dragon on it and the dragon's left tailfin was red. Lucy turned around and looked at Susan.

Susan and Trumpkin turned around and behind them stood a girl with a hood over her head and some leather over her mouth so you couldn't see her whole face. You could only see her nose and her light brown eyes.

Next to the girl stood a black dragon. The girl walked past Susan and Trumpkin, Peter walked quickly over and help Lucy up before stepping aside when the girl walked over to the dead bear, Peter and Edmund hold their sword towards the black dragon and the girl.

The girl sat crouched down as she looked at the bear "This is the fifth animal in this month that has turn wild, Bud, if it keep going on like this, there will be no animal left" the girl said and looked at her dragon. "Hey, who are you? Are you with the Telmarine?" Peter asked and pointed his sword at her which cause the dragon to turn around before it looked at Peter and growled at him. 

Lucy looked at the dragon, it was dark as the night, it had green eyes, it was not very big as most of the dragons was, about the same size as a panther and it was 26 feet in length. But it was not that Lucy had her eyes on, it was the dragon's left tailfin, it was not black like the other, it was red, and in the middle, was there a white lion head.

The girl got up, turned around and looked at the dragon, "Easy Toothless, they don't know who we are, just calm down, Bud" said the girl and the dragon stopped growling "You must be the kings and queens of old, don't worry your Majesties. I am on your side" the girl said and their eyes widened "How do you know who we are? Who are you? Answer me!" Peter said and the girl smiled "I am not on the Telmarine 's side, if I was the enemy, I wouldn't just have saved you, I would have followed you, and cut your throat while you were asleep, and if I was on the Telmarine's side, Toothless wouldn't have been this close to me, he would have killed me or worse" the girl said and stroked Toothless down his forehead, Toothless looked at her and smiled.

"If you are not the enemy, who are you?" Susan asked. The girl removed the hood and the leather over her mouth.

It was Clara, she had dark brown hair, a sword on her back and she had put her hair up in a ponytail, she was young than Susan and Peter and older than Lucy, around the same age as Edmund, maybe around the age of 15.

"Princess Clara" Trumpkin said "Hello Trumpkin, good you are okay, I was on my way to save you, but I can see you got help" Clara said. 

Peter and the others looked at Clara with their eyes widened "It's okay you don't know me. Well I did not expect that either, I am Clara, and I am Caspian's cousin and now to answer your next questions, no, Miraz is not my father. My father was the high king of the Telmarine, before Miraz killed him. But I can answer your questions later, now we need go back and find Caspian" Clara said.

Peter took two steps towards Clara but stopped when Toothless growled a little at him.

Clara looked at Toothless "Shh, Bud, it's okay, they are the good guys" Clara said and Toothless stopped growling before he looked at her and and sat down.

Clara looked at Peter "Do you know where he is?" he asked and Clara nodded "Yes, the last time I saw him, he was in the east woods, but he have probably moved" Clara said.

"I can help you find the way, I know Narnia very well, if you don't mind, I can help you?" Clara asked. "We wouldn't mind" Edmund said. Clara looked at him, she did not notice him before.

He had black hair and brown eyes, when she looked at him, she got this strange feelings in her body, it became warm and her heart beat faster. He smiled sweet to her, and when he did that Clara's cheek became red "Then show us the way to your cousin" Peter said and Clara nodded "As you wish" she said and turned around and started walking, Peter and the others followed her.
