Kali POV

Okay, I have the courage to tell mom and dad.... no I really don't.

I wept while thinking about it.

Fine- I'm gone tell them. NO IM NOT!

'Kali you have to tell them.'I thought. 'no you don't Kali, if you tell them it'll only make things worse'

'Shut up, she needs to listen to me, and tell mommy and daddy'

Ugh one side of my brain is wrong and the other side is right.

But how do I know that which is which.

I ran out my room and into the kitchen.

Mom was opening grocery bags, and dad was with his friends.

"Hole up, y'all fa got sum."Mom scolded them.

"What's it now."August asked.

"Watermelon, grapes, and ice cream."mom said.

Then the boys and daddy left, and Junior walked in.

He looked at me and mommy then sat down.

I also sat down, and mother stared at us.

"Y'all hiding something, I'm gone find out."She finally said going to the pantry.

"I'm not hiding any thing,"Junior said biting his nails.

"I'm not dumb, junior."Mother told him.

"I never said you were dumb."Junior shot back.

I just looked at them bicker. It was kind've funny.

"Just know, y'all can't hide shit from me."Mom said.

"So you already know bout my balls half way dropping."Junior blurted.

Naja POV

I looked at him with My eyes big as bowling balls.

"No, I ain't know that, you ion go round tellin people yo balls dropping."i say, getting out some pots.

Kali sat there and fidgeted with her fingers.

"Was sup, Kali."I asked, sitting between them.

"Nothing, I don't want to talk bout it."She said running off.

"Do you know what's up with her."i asked.

"Nope, completely nothing mom."Junior said also running off.

What's up with them?

Either way I hope it ain't nothing serous where I gotta kill someone.

I got up, and started cooking.

Skipping to dinner time~~~

Jay POV

"Can I be excused."Kali asked.

"Why?"Naja said. "That wasn't my question, can I be excused is what I asked."Kali retorted.

I was surprised at this, this ain't the Kali, Naja had.

Normally it's Junior talking back, but now it's Kali.

WTF is going on?

"Loose da attitude, and fine go."Naja said.

"What's up wit Kali."I asked. "Ion know. Junior what's up wit Kali."Naja said.

"Nothing's up wit her, ion know. Why you asking me, I'm eating see."He said shoving a spoon full of Mashed potatoes in his mouth.

He spilled some on the floor. "Fuck,"He whispered covering his mouth and reaching for a napkin.

I looked up at Naja, and smiled then continued eating.

Naja POV

Why won't the kids just tell us, what's going on?

After I got done eating, I went to my bedroom and took a shower.

Once I got in, I locked the slide door, and closed the curtain.

After I was done, I got out and put on nightclothes.

I turned on the tv, and channel surfed.
