"What?" Kimball questioned.
"That's impossible," Doyle stated, "They'd never risk a bombing run!"
"Well, that's the thing..." the soldier on the radio said, "Uh, they're actually not."
"I thought you guys said we were safe at the Capital!" Simmons exclaimed.
"I never thought they'd be so bold!" Doyle told him, "They'd take too many casualties!"
"I guess they don't care how many people they lose," Carolina said, "Once they have the sword, it won't matter."
Sarge reloaded his shotgun, "Then sounds like we gotta make sure they lose all their men!"
Doc laughed, that was definitely O'Malley's laugh though. "Yes! Forget the counseling session. Bring on the blood bath!"
"Let's get out there and stick it to 'em, gang!" Donut exclaimed.
"Hold up," Epsilon said, "Um, I got a better idea, but...you're probably not gonna like it."
"Can't be much worse than the current one," Grif commented.
"It's like Kimball said, the Capital's a death trap...but not for us."
"What are you saying?" Carolina questioned.
I smirked as I got what he was getting at, "Well, the mercs just dropped all of their men right into the city. A city that just so happens to have a very powerful nuclear reactor."
Ryan and Rae nodded, "And if we blow up the reactor..."
"We blow up everything Charon has to throw at us."
"Evacuate the city," Kimball ordered.
Everyone jumped into action. I went to go with the Reds and Blues when Epsilon stopped me.
"Whoa," he said, "we need to go with the others to the reactor."
"No," I said, "I need to go with my team. Ye can go with the Freelancers. I'm sure one of them will take ye."
"Riley!"
"Epsilon!"
"What's going on?" Rae asked as she and Carolina stopped next to me.
"Riley wants to go with the Reds and Blues," Epsilon told her.
"Aye. I'm not a Freelancer anymore. Those men are my team. I'm going with them."
He put his hands on his hips, "You just want to go with Simmons."
"Absolutely. I'm not letting pirates kill him. That and I don't want to face Sharkface again. It didn't go well the last time."
"We don't have time for this," Carolina said, "I'll take Epsilon. You go with the Reds and Blues."
I nodded and handed off Epsilon.
"Hey," Wash said as he and Ryan joined us, "if you're going with them. Keep him safe."
I put a hand on his arm, "Always. Both of ye look out for each other."
"Always. See ya on the other side, Skywalker."
"May the force be with ye."
"And you."
He and Ryan walked off toward York. Rae and Carolina followed.
"Be careful," Rae called.
"And ye," I called back before running off after the guys. I came up behind them as they were watching some pirates.
