***Three years later***

I watched the Counselor as he walked over to the Director. I didn't like that man. He was shady. He glanced to me before speaking to the Director.

"Our, operatives are, in position, Director," the Counselor said.

"Good, send them in," the Director said turning to look at the holo-table. I watched as he pulled up the layout of the building.

"If I may say, Sir, my testing indicates that this, might not be the best, team for the job."

"They'll be fine." The Director looked to me, "Right, Agent Rhode Island?"

"They'll be fine," I repeated never taking my eyes off the dots that were labeled North and South. I turned away once Raelyn set off the alarm. All because she didn't set her trackers. I didn't turn back again until I heard her yell for Ryan. I looked to the screen that had their vitals on it. It didn't tell me what had happened, but Ryan's heart rate was up so that meant he was injured.

Carolina had gone in and rescued them, so they were going to be okay. I paced the room until Carolina and Raelyn walked into the room.

"The drive, sir," Rae said handing it to the Director.

He turned around and handed it to me. "It's all yours, Agent."

"Yes, sir," I said. I walked out and started for my room, so I could work on getting the information.

"Ri," Rae called.

I turned to look at her, "Yeah?"

"Come on," she said motioning for me to follow her. I sighed and followed her down to Ryan's room. She opened his door without knocking. She froze in the doorway. "Son of a bitch."

"What?" I questioned trying to see around her.

"Nope. Ye don't need to see that."

"What? Is he in the skud? It's not the first time I've walked on him naked."

"He's not naked."

"Then what?" I pushed my way around her and found Ryan sitting on his bed with Wash in his lap. They appeared to have been making out. I rolled my eyes and looked at my sister. "Really, Rae? Freaking out over this. They're clothed. Now, is there a reason ye dragged me down here? I have work to do and he's clearly not dead."

She crossed her arms, "I was dragging you both to dinner."

Ryan and Wash stood up.

"Let's go," Rae ordered. She turned and walked out of the room. I followed her out.

"Ri," Ryan said catching my arm, "wait."

"What?"

He eyed me before saying, "This doesn't bother ye."

"What? The fact that my older brother is dating my best friend? Nah, it doesn't bother me. If you two are happy why should I stop ye. Just know this, brother or not, you hurt him; I hurt you." I the turned to Wash. "You hurt him, Washington, and I will...well I'm not going to anything. Ryan's a big boy." I grinned at them, "Now let's go. I'm kinda hungry. I really hope there's Jell-O." I turned and skipped down to the mess hall. I got my food and sat down next to Maine and across from York. "I was right and you two owe me," I said.

York narrowed his eyes at me, "Proof."

I nodded to where Ryan and Wash had walked in holding hands.

"Damn it," York groused then slid over a twenty.

"Thank you. Big guy?"

Maine grumbled but handed me a twenty as well.
