Reeks of scary, heart pumping, wicked, sweaty scenes.
Horror is a type of fiction written with the intention to scare, frighten and disgust it's readers.
It uses the elements of fear and terror. Going to extreme lengths to really make terrible scenes realistic and dreadful.
A horror story must have a threatening source of danger, that constantly interrupts characters lives
This source of danger must be unholy, and totally violates the normal human way of life.
Most writers fans to write off course away from the intended horror story idea, this can lead to confusion to readers.
It is best to maintain the terror theme and limit the most horrible scenes so that readers don't get bored and overwhelmed with too much gore scenes.
Writers may want to introduce a little romance, but that shouldn't take over the terror of danger in the story.
Horror fiction can be fueled with suspense, little mystery, an impractical solution and lots of terror.
