Most movies we watch are full of adventure. If not we will not be watching them at all.
Adventure are series of events leading to an expected end.
Most times the end of the story is is known example, save the world, save the king, save the friend, save your family, become a full witch, etc
Let's say I am the protagonist in my story, and I need to get the blood stone to save the world.
How do I get to the place where the stone is located and pick it?
What hurdles and problems and people and tests will I have to overcome to get there?
Who goes on this journey with me?
If I refuse to go what are the consequences?
It usually centers on the protagonist going on a mission to make things right or even worse as the case may be. At the end he is celebrated as a hero or heroine.
Adventure could be based on a romance story, where the ultimate goal of the protagonist is make someone love him at the end.
Adventure could also be based on fantasy, science fiction or
Thriller.
Adventure stories should have elements of risk for the protagonist to pass through before making it to the end.
Here the writer presents lots of trials, games, monsters, evil, etc that stands against the protagonist trying to achieve a particular feat.
Adventure books should have this elements and create suspense for readers to be fully engaged with the story.
