Mood conflict

In a chapter, the character's internal mood, desires or thoughts can be linked with the external environment such as a rainy day, sunny day, crowds area, park, people looking etc.

Example...
A happy character can be linked to a sunny or bright day.

A sad character can be linked with a gloomy or cloudy sky.

A crying character can be linked to a rainy day.

In order words, expand your paragraphs by linking the environment with what the characters are actually feeling.

Gives the readers knowledge on how the background of your story looks like.
