The hardest part about writing, like most writers can relate is getting yourself to begin to write physically.

Picking up your pen, your laptop or computer and start writing something can actually proof to be a difficult task at first but once you take a plunge and write the first word, all other things get in place.

What actually gets writers panicking about getting their books done?

We are going to explore that.

Some real serious reasons about not getting our books done can be :

- Fear of the unknown
- Inferiority complex
- Too cliched
- Writers block
- Deciding which genre to write
- Doubts (if you are a writer all)
- External constraints (What will people think about my work)
- Criticism
- Time factor (Not accomplishing your work at a given time)

What actually makes good writers and good books stand out?

ZEAL.

Zeal means fervor or tireless devotion for something.

The zeal to push on no matter what. Ever noticed when reading some books it really interesting at the beginning but getting to the middle you notice the writer become sluggish in words, the story gets a bit too aggressive or too dull. It lacks life like in the beginning.

That's a drop in zeal. The ability for you to maintain that strong zeal from the beginning of your book to the end without wavering makes your book stand out.

That is why I advise :

- write what you love to read, not what everyone is writing about

- don't write your story updates when you are emotionally down or unstable. There will be conflicts in the work.

- Maintain zeal for works. Don't be discouraged. Learn from other writers, study and research more about writing and become better with each chapter.

When you work hard on your work, definitely people will notice.
