"Good Evening Mr. Wright"

"Edward, what a pleasant surprise" Mr. Wright exclaimed

Mr. Wright took Edward towards the sitting room as I stood in a far off corner to observe what he was here for. I wanted to go to Olive and tell her everything I knew but I needed to check for his intentions at the moment.

As they sit down, Edward hands over the bouquet he bought to Mrs. Writing who just came in from the other room.

"Thank you for such lovely flowers dear" she said with a smile as she admired the bouquet.

"...ah, Olive's not home son. You came at the wrong time." Mr. Wright told him, ."but wait a minute, aren't you already supposed to know it since she should be in the office as of now." I questioned

"Yes sir, I'm very well aware and I'm here at the right time. I'm here to talk to you." He said

"What is it about? Don't tell me you want to fire my daughter." Mr. Wright made a lame joke and Edward forced himself to laugh like he was actively interested in this conversation, which was clear to me he wasn't. He's good at pretending and that's one thing I've come to know about him.

"I came to asks you something, infact to take your permission."

"Yes go ahead" Mr. Wright said giving a close attention to his words

"Considering that you're an old fashioned man, which I do appreciate. I wanted to take your permission if I can propose your daughter for marriage." He said presenting a shy face and showing all the courtesy possible

The room went silent for a couple of minutes, not only Edward but I too had started to gain an impression that Mr. Wright wasn't really pleased by this gesture. But instead he stood up opened his arms to hug him and said, "Son! I wouldn't be more happier." What even...I mean, how can he simply agree.

"Oh dear lord, I couldn't express how grateful I feel, Olive really likes you she will definitely say yes." Mrs. Wright said and gave a hug as well. Edward looked at me and gave a wicked smile.

What a phoney he is. I've got to reach out to Olive and tell her everything. Wait, but Olive isn't talking to me. Anyhow, she deserves to know what game this guy is playing. I can't let my girl get harmed by him nor can I leave her with him when it's time for me to go from the living world.

I pulled myself together to teleport to Olive's office but of course as usual I forgot I can't teleport long distance for some reason. I did ask some other spirit friends of mine, how long does it takes to learn it but they told it came instantly to them. Instantly? Well, how great is it. I have flaws even in the spirit world. Considering this fact, I walked few blocked and then tried teleporting again, as I realised I stood near the park where once Grace used to wait for me. I'm not sure where she is now but I can hope for the best. I pulled up again and landed in the office.

"Yes!" I exclaimed, finally inside and it drove nobody's attention but Olive's as she was the only one who could hear me out, expect for that monster Edward, who thankfully isn't around yet.

"Can you not shout?" Olive whispered looking at me as I stood right by her desk

"We need to talk." I told her

"I think there has been enough talking between us and I've stopped meddling with ghostie businesses now." She said, pretending to be engaged with her computer, "and if don't mind, I'm busy at the moment. Don't want to appear to be a freak who talks to herself." She continued typing

"Who are you bluffing? I know you're just pretending so kindly give a few minutes." I said to her

"I don't think I want to talk to you anymore and I feel you-"
