Awakening

"In coma?" Father D'Mello said with amazement

"At least that's what we heard Jason's mother say." I told him

"This might be a good news for you Jason dear." Father said, trying to figure out where Jason was sitting

"How is that so?" We both asked together

"Well, its possible that when your body faced immense pressure and sudden shock, your soul fell apart from it. This phenomena can be altered if your soul comes in contact with you body again. The only difficult part is that your body should be ready to accept your soul back." Father explained the process

"And what are the chances that it wouldn't accept the soul back?" Jason asked and I told the same to Father

"...there are some chances." He said after a pause

"I think I should go find in which hospital, Jason...eh I mean Jason's body is admitted." I decided

"You obviously can't go, considering my mom's impression of you, she'd hate to see you anywhere around me." Jason said with a giggle

"Not funny Jason." I said with an annoyed look on my face, sure I was disappointed that my boyfriend's mother thinks I'm a freak but she will like me once I get her son back

"What do you plan to do?" Father D'Mello asked, as he obviously didn't hear our conversation

"I will go and check on her." Jason said

"Alright, then tomorrow you follow her to the hospital." I said, as we decided the plan together

JASON

Coming back home was one great feeling, even though it wasn't the same as before but just the idea of being able to see my parents again had made me so much full of hope. At exactly 10 am, my mom packed off the things and started to leave for the hospital. Just imagining that she must be doing the same thing since two years makes me feel so sorry and miserable. I wasn't the only one fighting through the change I was going experiencing but she was having her own struggle which I was completely unaware of. Waking up every morning with a hope that today my son will regain his conscious and coming back home disappointed at night, how has my mom been living such a life for so long? At this point, all I wanted was to hug her real tight and fix every broken piece of her heart, restore all the drained energy.

I followed her down the road, sometimes walking behind and sometimes by her side. I noticed she looks older than before, with shabby clothes and unmade grey hair popping from underneath the few black strands.

"You haven't been taking care of yourself mom." I whispered in her ears, she turned to the feeling of blowing wind when suddenly she was dragged inside by a man in a car.

"MOM, MOM...." I yelled but who would hear out a spirit. She shouted and screamed as I ran behind the car. I ran for as long as I could and then teleported myself to a place that looked like a warehouse. I stood behind the huge pile of whatever it was too be honest the place was too damp and dark. I saw this man in an overcoat and hat talking to my mom.

"How stereotypically you dress up Edward." I said, knowing the fact who this pathetic human could be

"Mrs. Salvador, not to worry at all. I have no intentions of harming you. I am a gentleman indeed." He said politely but in a sarcastic tone

"Who are you? ...actually no, I don't care who you are, its getting late I need to get to my son." She said angrily

"How very rude. No problem, you don't even have to know who am I, all you need to know is that if you want you son to keep breathing, keep him away from any sorts of visits. Especially from the pretty girls." He said
