Recap chap 36:
I could no longer have stood by and watched her slowly kill herself. I blasted through the door with a powerful fierceness and took off to my room. This was madness, absolute insanity! If they thought I would have let this go... they were wrong.
I would have fought for her life. All I needed was a plan.

Chapter 37: The Plan
Ronan POV
The next few weeks were inundated with endless arguments over Arianna's well being. I could not have let her sacrifice herself, and I could not have stood idly by and watched as Xavier appeased her wishes.
"Why can't we try a little harder to convince her?" I asked, unable to understand why he was so adamant. Had her life meant so little to him? He was after all, her husband.
"She doesn't want it Ronan. Besides, there are rules to follow. You know that as well as I do." He responded with as exasperated sigh. Why was he always so concerned with the rules?
"Well, if it's the rules that bother you, I have already taken the matter up with father and he is in agreement with me. He feels that Aria's life is far too important to waste." I defended my point.
"So you went behind my back? Some brother you've turned out to be." He scoffed and leered at me.
"Someone had to take action. It's not like you are so concerned with her life." I sneered. Anger teemed in my eyes. How could he have been so cavalier when her life had been at stake?
"Damn it Ronan, I am concerned! She's my wife. How could you think I want her to die?" He scowled, threw me a furious glare.
"It's just that you aren't trying very hard to change her mind." I scoffed and drew my eyebrows up. He could have argued all day with me, but when it came to Aria, he would have let her get away with murder.
"She's stubborn, you know that. There's no convincing her once her mind is set." He responded gravely. Maybe he hadn't tried hard enough. Maybe there was another way.
"Maybe there is an alternative." I announced with a smirk plastered on my face. A plan seemed to have formed in my head.
"Like what?" He inquired. I had peaked his curiosity. Now we had gotten somewhere.
It wasn't a hard task to have changed a human into a vampire. They only needed to have ingested a few tablespoons of vampire blood after being drained of said amount beforehand. Then the blood would have taken over the human's body and turned them into a vampire. Of course it was a little more involved than that, but not that much. It seemed simple enough.
I had never before attempted it myself or seen it done. I knew the logistics of it and hoped it would have been enough. If I could only have convinced Xavier, this all would have been so much simpler.
"What if we slipped it to her, you know in secret. Of course you would have to drain a little blood from her first, unless you want me to do it." I smiled an evil smile. Xavier looked pissed. That was the only face he had worn in weeks.
