So I always have a dream every night. And I most of the time don't remember what they're about. Sometimes I do. I remember this one and it shook me to the core and I couldn't stop thinking about it.Okie let's go....

My POV

My moms car pulled up to the large boarding school. I got my stuff out, kissed my mom on the cheek and rolled my suitcase up to the school.

I saw unfamiliar faces and immediately was hit with anxiety. I turned and saw one face I knew. "Maddie!" I yelled and ran over to her. She turned. "How do you know my name?"

"It's Dust!"

She immediately smiled and hugged me. We screeched and kept on talking on and on.

"Maddie, Sidara and I got assigned our dorm-

"Danielle?" I looked up at the unmistakable Afro.

"Dust?" She asked. "That's me!" I hopped.

I saw Sidara and we all basically screamed at the fact that we were here in real life at a boarding school.

"Ok so I'm rooming Maddie, sorry Alyssa." I turned and saw two unfamiliar faces.

It was Nev and Alyssa. I don't remember what they looked like, which is common in my dreams.

"We're getting our uniforms soon. All girls have to wear skirts. Sorry Maddie." Danielle read off of a paper.

Maddie dramatically fell on the ground.

We got to our dorms. I roomed with Alyssa, Nev was with Maddie, and Danielle was with Sidara.

We got our uniforms which I 100% remember that they were HEATHERS COSTUMES.

I had a blue Heathers uniform, Danielle had green, Nev had red, Maddie had black, Sidara had yellow, and Alyssa had purple.

At least they were colorful.

I remember having one class. Coding. All I remember was sitting in the back with the squad and Nev hitting her head on the keyboard.

After class, we got called into the principals office.

The principal was serious and kind of annoying. I don't remember why, but he said that our student 'taxes' were raised and we needed a job.

We all together were 1,000,000 dollars in debt.

We got a job cleaning a large red staircase in the sky that led to nowhere. It had a ledge at the end so we didn't fall to our deaths.

While climbing up the stairs, I said "if any of y'all taxes go up, I can't help pay for it. I can't afford it."

Nev was angry. "You know what? Don't talk to me." She crossed her arms and walked back up the stairs.

I felt overwhelmed. I started to cry and I ran down the stairs. Immediately I was hit with the freezing cold. It was raining HARD and water was squirting out of the walls. I ran through the water and I felt a hand grab my shoulder.

"Dust. I'm sorry." It was Nev. everybody else was behind her. We had a dramatic moment, hugged and went back up the stairs to clean the steps.

Afterwards we went and sat on the ledge. After talking and laughing. Sidara turned so her legs were dangling off the high staircase, and she was holding herself up.

"Babe? What are you doing?" Danielle quickly looked over at her. "Bye Danny."

And she let go.

Danielle screamed and threw herself off too.

Two splats.

Everyone else was in shock and crying. Maddie turned to me. "I have to go too." My eyes widened. "No Maddie! Please don't." I begged.

"I can't. I have to." And then Maddie jumped too.

Nev turned and held out her arms. "Bye guys." And she fell back. Alyssa and I looked over at them falling.

Two more splats. Alyssa and I turned away right when Maddie hit the concrete.

Alyssa stood up. "No Alyssa. Please."

She ran and jumped off. "No!" I cried out.

I was alone now. I wiped the tears from my eyes.

Just then, I felt two hands push me off.

And I fell.

Splat.

I quickly sat up, my eyes wide. And freezing cold.

I turned over on my side, facing the wall, and wrapped myself up in my blanket.

And I eventually drifted off again.
