Quiet, and surprising.
I think that sounds pretty suiting with you at the moment, Edward.
Like the calm before the storm. Heck, who even guessed there was a storm? Well there was eventually, and it came with the package of dark expressive orbs and a horrible atmosphere.
And it was there to hit us all in one huge impact.
"Belle?" You repeated and did an overtake of the scene.
I probably look like a lost goldfish waiting for words to come out, and maybe Dave was in a loss for words as I was too.
Dave turned to look at me and held an amused but dangerous smirk. It was the first stage of something that was about to go up, and I didn't like his twisted smile in all ways.
He chuckled deeply, "I see." and glanced at you, Edward, then back to me. I began to panic as I saw him moving his neck, cracking it like he's a tough gangster, which he probably is. Second phase.
"What's going on, Belle?" You raised your voice.
Now tell me, what do you do if you're caught up in a situation between your past and your future? If this was the me from two years ago, I would've never got myself involved in the first place- but alot of things have changed quickly.
The third warning sign was Dave clenching his bruised from punching fist and he shrugged his shoulders off. All that's left is for him to growl- and I'm not taking any chances of seeing you beaten up.
"Edward. Listen to me." I whispered, taking a small step infront of Dave and turning my head to you.
Your eyes held fury as much as Dave's and I knew right at that moment, you knew what will and what is about to happen.
I mouthed, "Go."
But you didn't Edward, you were friggin' stubborn that you decided to stay and release the storm inside of you- and that's exactly what I didn't want to happen. I can't let you experienced what I had.
"No." You stated firmly, gritting your teeth.
The last stage- and Dave growled and pushed me roughly away and ran to you and punched you right in the jaw. I shook my head as black spots began to show and I tried hard to be awake.
"You son of a btch." You growled and kicked him in the stomach, and as I heard Dave groan, I sat up and stared helplessly at the two people who were both a part of my life.
"You're tough, I give you that. But no asshole in his right mind would hurt a girl in any way-and I'll make sure to make you pay for what you've done to Belle. Remember this, dumbass." You warned after seeing Dave groan in the sand.
"Fuck. This isn't over, Belle. I'll get you back someday."
