Dumbledore merely smiled to my reply.
I, as per usual, had a smug look on my face. I knew this crazy old bat couldn't do anything that involved 'magic'.
Magic, like most things, is just fairy tales. I have learned not to believe the things people say. I merely Knowledge it and send it aside until I see the cold hard facts.
But there was something about magic that I wouldn't allow myself to believe in. It might be because if magic was real, then what else was. If there was magic then there had to be happy endings.
Or simple I didn't believe because I had some sense of sanity.
Either way, I looked at Dumbledore bored but expectant. Daring him to prove me wrong.
With one graceful flick of the wrist, my reality started to crumple as I realized what had just happened....
He just proved me wrong.
There is such thing as magic....
