Clarke sat at one of the many tables with Bellamy. They were almost the only ones there, as pretty much everyone else had already eaten their breakfast.

Only a few minutes had passed since Raven and Murphy left them to go do their business for the day.

"Why do you look so stressed?" Bellamy asked, looking at Clarke who had a concerned look in her eyes. "The deal is sealed with the grounders, you shouldn't be stressed." He continued.

"I know, but I'm scared about how long it will last. Not just from their side, but from ours too. Not everyone's happy about the deal. They'd blow up all the villages they could find if we let them." Clarke answered while looking down. As usual, she couldn't help but worry.

"You can't worry about something that's not happening yet. We don't know what will happen tomorrow. A sickness could spread or another threat could show up out of the blue, don't spend time worrying about something you're not sure is going to happen." Bellamy stood up, and Clarke met his eyes.

She nodded her head as she shifted her gaze down to her food that she wasn't eating much of. She knew he was right, she should just enjoy the peace while it lasted.

"I should go, I have to guard," Bellamy said as he placed his plate and glass on another table for used things.

Clarke watched him walk out. She left only a few minutes after him.

She didn't have many plans for the day, except meeting with her mom, but Kane would most likely be there too.

Clarke was about to go back to her tent to maybe catch up on some sleep when Monty stopped her.

"We're going out hunting. We could use your help, do you have time?" He asked. He was in all his equipment, ready to go.

"Yeah, just give me a few minutes," Clarke answered as she walked back to her tent. She knew she was probably not going to sleep anyway, so she might as well do something useful.

She changed her clothing and got all her equipment and walked towards the others who were waiting at the gate.

The gate opened and they walked out and into the woods.

They were a team of six persons in total.

They split up into a few teams and went different ways. Clarke walked with another dude from camp she couldn't remember the name of, but she remembered him as one of the hundred.

They came across a deer and took down a few birds too that they knew were edible. Nothing big happened, and they all returned to camp after a few hours. They dropped the food off at the food preparation section, and Clarke went to get changed before her meeting with her mom.

When she walked into the room her mom and Kane were already there.

"What's all this about?" Clarke asked and Bellamy came walking into the room.

Abby hesitated. "We are unsure about this deal with the grounders. Are we sure we can trust them?" She asked Clarke.

Clarke's face changed. She was furious. "Isn't it a little late for this now? We have made a deal with them, and they know this earth better than we do. We need them to survive." She said looking at her mother and Kane. Did they really not understand it?

"What else do you suggest we do?" It was Bellamy's turn to take over. He sounded just as furious as Clarke.

"We are not the problem. The people are, they don't all like this deal between the grounders and us, and we fear what it'll lead to." Kane spoke.

"We don't have any other choice! And the grounders have helped us, we won't survive without their help." Clarke stated.

She walked out of there, not wanting to hear anything else they had to say. She made it outside and stopped to get some air before her head exploded.

"Hey," Bellamy said as he went to stand beside her. "We made the right choice with the grounders." He continued.

"I know, it just makes me furious that they're doubting it." Clarke looked around the camp. Everywhere people were preparing food, guarding, and just doing their jobs so they could all survive.

The silence settled between them and they were both just trying to regain control of themselves from their talk with Abby and Kane.
