THIRD PERSON

Clarke had slept better than usual, she knew her body and brain were thankful for the hours of sleep.

The night after she had slept in Bellamy's tent, she found herself alone in her own. She was trying to fall asleep, she really was, but every little part of her missed Bellamy's presence beside her.

The air and space around her felt cold and empty. She found herself walking out of her tent again, into the chilly night.

She couldn't help but wish that Bellamy would just coincidentally walk by again. She wondered if he was in his tent or if he was on duty.

After no sign of him outside, she found herself walking over to his tent. She told herself to stop, but her legs kept going as she reached his tent.

She stood outside. Completely still. There was no light coming from his tent, so he was probably asleep. She couldn't just walk in there, and it was not like she could knock.

After standing there doubtingly for minutes, her brain took over her body, and she told herself that it was wrong, and she turned around, walking away.

"Clarke?" A voice spoke behind her. She froze, she knew it was Bellamy. What was she supposed to say?

She turned around to meet his eyes in the dark.

"What are you doing here?" His hoarse voice asked. He had definitely been sleeping.

Clarke's eyes nervously searched their surroundings, she didn't know where to look. She just felt kind of embarrassed, and she didn't want to look at Bellamy.

She sighed, and he patiently waited for her to answer.

"I couldn't sleep," She started, she could feel his eyes on her. "I was just walking around." She lied to him. She just felt too awkward telling him she had just been standing at his tent, desperately wanting to just walk in there and lay beside him, feeling the warmth from his body.

Before he could answer she spoke. "Why are you up?" Now she met his eyes again.

"Nightmare," He replied shortly. "I have them every night too."

Clarke bit on the insides of her lips as she just stood there.

Bellamy couldn't help but just stare at her. Her tense expression, and the light from a lantern shining slightly at her.

He stepped to the side and held the tent open for her. Clarke tilted her head, hesitating a bit, even though she knew she couldn't say no to the offer.

She brushed past Bellamy inside his tent and he followed after her. She snuggled under the blanket as Bellamy lay down beside her.

Comfortable silence and unspoken words hang in the air. "Are you okay?" Clarke spoke. She was laying on her back, and she turned her head to look at him.

"What do you mean?" Bellamy asked, turning to look at her too. He was staring into her blue eyes.

"After the nightmare." She continued, clarifying herself.

Bellamy turned his head to look up. Clarke kept observing him.

He nodded. "Yeah,"

Clarke turned her head to look up too, and Bellamy slightly glanced at her.

After a while, Clarke turned and buried herself in Bellamy's arm. Bellamy's arm snugged protectingly around her and caressed her arm.

They both drifted off to sleep and slept better than ever before.
