At the field, Kato and Dela sat on the grass.

"Okay, so what kind of power do you have?" Kato began.

"Uh.. it's called Earth.." Dela mumbled.

"Woah, sounds cool." Kato replies. "Does that mean you can control the Earth?"

"What, no way I wish!" Dela laughed. "I can control rocks. I know, not very cool now, huh?"

"No, I still think it's very cool. You seem cool in general." Kato replied. Dela blushed at this, and looked at her knees.

"W-What's your power?" Dela mumbled.

"Oh, haha. I don't have one. Well, I might. I can lift really heavy things... but I'm not sure if it's a power." Kato laughed. She looked at him with shocked eyes. Going to Demigod School for Teens made her forget that some people are born mortals. "Anyway," Kato began. "Let's begin to train." Dela nodded with a determined expression.

For the next 10 minutes, Kato helped Dela calm her nerves, which were the main issue with her not being able to harness her power. He taught her how to levitate medium sized rocks by putting her hands closer together. Dela was ecstatic. Kato's voice was so calming to her, and she was 10 times better now than before in 10 minutes than in her entire life. She laughed in delight as she lifted bigger rocks than she's ever lifted before. Kato looked at her intently. This personality shift was so different than the shy girl that he met 10 minutes earlier. He smiled.

"So," He began.

Dela looked at him, suddenly knocked out of her concentration. "Huh..?"

Dela realized he was trying to make conversation, but he didn't know what to say. Embarrassed by the silence, she spoke first.

"So.. what happened to your business..?"

"U-uh.." Kato wasn't ready for that question, but he was pleased she wanted to know more about him. "It's wasn't my business, I just worked there. My dad trained me as an assistant. He owned it. A big company and a rival of my dad's business went around town spreading bad rumors about ours. They said stuff about how we had rats, and roaches and other disgusting things. All of this wasn't true, of course, but the public ate it up. Soon, nobody came to train anymore. We started to run out of money and soon enough, we couldn't afford the place anymore, so my dad sold it. That was today..."

Dela had a saddened expression. "Oh.. so that's why you were in a bad mood."

"Yes, again I'm sorry about that." Kato replies.

"Don't apologize to me, apologize to Prae!" Dela giggled.

"I'll make sure to." Kato smiled.

Suddenly, commotion was heard near the village. Screams were heard and people were panicking. Dela looked at the sky, the clouds were way closer, but not close enough to be worried about. They had at most 5 minutes before they had to depart. In the distance, a familiar yell could be heard.

Dela squinted at the distance. "Prae..?" After a couple seconds, Prae was right in front of Dela.

"Aah!" Kato fell over backwards in shock. He's never seen her power before.

Prae completely ignored Kato and looked at Dela with a worried look. Dela knew this look, very well. It was an "I did something I shouldn't" look.

"Oh my god Prae! What did you do?!" Dela screamed.

"I-I kinda sort of let it slip that their village was going to be destroyed by Darlock." Prae mumbled, twiddling her thumbs.
