Chapter 8- Repel

     Dela lands atop Mount Olympus. The top is snowy, and it's very cold. A black mist surrounds the whole mountain. All around her, meteors rained below. She could see so high up. She saw the Lillith village being reduced to rubble, and Illian village was no exception. Not to mention her own village of Icarus. She looked around the mountain top. Suddenly, the ground began to rumble. A deep voice began to speak.

     "Who dares confront me?" The deep voice says menacingly.

     Dela looks into the blast mist. "I have here to end the suffering you have put people through. Your reign will never occur!" Dela screams.

     "You're the girl I tried to stop. Since my minions didn't do their job, I guess I'll finish it for them!" The voice booms.

     Soon, out of the mist comes a huge monster. He had the horns of a ram, and the smile of a menacing cat. He had red skin, and long black nails. His eyes were yellow, and they had pure evil in them. "I am Darlock. For you are but a mortal, so I'll make this snappy." Darlock replies, and suddenly he pulls up chunks of rock out of the mountain and flings them at Dela. Remembering her brief training, and the close encounter with the minions, Dela dodges with lighting quick speed. Her eyes burned with adrenaline and determination.

     "Don't think this'll be easy, for I am Dela, and my face will be the last thing you'll ever lay your eyes on!" Dela begins to run around the circular shape of the mountain top, and each time Darlock smashes some rock to smash her, her quickens up a little more.

     Darlock looks shocked, but then he grins a scary smile. "Dela, huh..?" He whispers menacingly. Even though Darlock was a million times larger than Dela, it felt as though he was right in her ear. "That name sounds awfully familiar." Darlock chuckles.

     Dela continues to run. "You don't know me!" Dela screams.

     "Do you happen to know an Andrew Williams?" Darlock replies. "Well of course you don't. He died after you were born, didn't he..?"

     "Your mind games won't work on me! You know nothing about me!" Dela screeched, she continued to run.

     Darlock continued to smash up bits of rock, creating rubble and debris everywhere on the mountain top. "Andrew was my brother. He had the same power I have, you know. He was getting too powerful, more powerful than me, and I was the eldest. So you know what I did?" Darlock whispered. "I killed him."

     Dela was trying to not pay attention, but she was realizing how evil Darlock really was. "You're horrible! You're a total control freak! Once something doesn't go your way, you throw a hissy fit, don't you!" Dela retorted.

     "For a mortal you've sure got guts!" Darlock yelled. His booming voice made Dela's head pound, but she was determined to make her plan work.

     "Don't you realize what I'm saying little girl?" Darlock boomed.

    "It doesn't matter what you say." Dela retorts. Suddenly, she stops running, and jumps backward to dodge Darlock's attack. "Darlock, thank you for always keeping your eyes on me." Dela whispers. She then takes all of the rubble, debris and rock that Darlock created and made it rise. Dela then crashes it all together, and forms a super boulder. It is a thousand times larger than she is, but she has total control over it. Shocked at her sudden movements, Darlock makes a super meteor, and forces it on Dela's. They are in a state of equal force. They continue repel each other, and Darlock grins.

     "I had no idea you had powers, little girl." Darlock begins. "Too bad you're going to die in vain!"

    Meanwhile, Prae is seen running super sonic speed towards Mount Olympus. Suddenly, she sees the two super boulders. She gasps and puts her hand up to her mouth and whispers.

    "Oh my God, Dela."

     "Aughh!" Dela screams and pushes her boulder in Darlock's.

     "Didn't you listen to what I was saying before? Andrew Williams was your dad! Don't you know what that means?!" Darlock booms.

     "No!" Dela screams.

     "Yes! I'm your uncle!" Darlock cackles. "I killed your pathetic father, and now I'm here to kill you and all you love! After you, it's going to be Prae! I already got your mom, and your dad, and that little guy friend of yours!" Darlock screeches.

      "NO!" Dela screams. "This horrible creature killed my mother, my father, and Kato. This wicked creature killed all I love, and care for. If I had my dad, I would have a father figure! If my mother wouldn't have died, she would've seen me grow up and be successful. If Kato hadn't died, I would've had someone who truly cared about me, be by my side forever! He did all this to me. He did it." Dela screams in her mind.

     "NO!" Dela screams.

     "Why, yes!" Darlock cackles. He can sense her getting weaker.

      Suddenly, Dela uses one of her hands and reaches into her pocket. She takes out the vial of strength and pops the cap using her teeth, and drinks the contents. Dela's eyes began to glow and golden color. She felt her strength increase exponentially, and she felt her determination grow.

      "Auaghhh!" Dela screams, and she pushes her super boulder as hard as she possibly can. Her long black hair swirls. Dela is probably 50 kilometers above the mountain now, and Darlock tried his hardest to push back, but her power was too strong.

     "NOO!" Darlock booms. He loses control, and both of the boulders ran into him at a super high velocity. Darlock is propelled out of the atmosphere, out of solar system, and soon out of the universe. Dela slowly takes forced, shallow breaths. She then feels dizzy, and falls unconscious. Dela falls from the top of Mount Olympus.

    Suddenly, Prae, who is about 14 kilometers away, sees Dela falling from out the sky. She screams and begins to run to catch her. Right before Dela hits the ground, Prae runs up and catches her. Tears are streaming from Prae's face.

     "I'm so sorry, Dela. I'm so sorry..." Prae sobs.
