Alex POV

That night, I gave Phillip a plush. A present for his birthday, it was a beautiful bird. He loved it, as far as I could tell. I kissed him goodnight before going back to working..

I sell drugs, yes yes I know. It's terrible but you dont understand, I have to. I need this job.

3rd person

That night Alexander went out. He was going to meet some girl named Mimi. He looked around the street for a girl in skin tight cat like clothes. Shes a dancer, works at the Cat Scratch Club. Little did Alex know, an extra someone, whom Alex hated, and the feeling was mutual. James Reynolds. He had a terrible plan for Alexander tonight. One that would affect Phillip forever.

As Alex finally found Mimi, she gave him the money, when he felt a sharp but quick pain. Mimi didnt notice yet.

"Alex? Take the money"

"M-mimi.."

That's when Mimi felt the pain too. Alex was shot twice, one in the head and one in the back, intended to hit his heart. Mimi was only hit once. they both died.

Phillip found out the next day, that's when his cutting problem got out of control. He sobbed for hours every day. He locked himself in his room. Cuts were all over his arms and down his sides and up his thighs. He didnt care to hide them, what were people gonna do when they saw them? Send him to the therapy that doesn't help?
