I watch the trees pass by as we go to a nearby cafe, he happily got Pip and I some pancakes, I giggle as Pip experiments with the syrup, it was adorable!

Eventually we were finished and I was talking to Alex, it was late

"I should get going, nice eti meet you, hope you do well",

"You too" I smile, picking up Pip, who was asleep

We go find a warm-ish place. I wrap Phillip in the jacket tighter

2 years later

I'm in the hospital, Phillip and Alex at my side I'm in so much pain but I have to hold on..It takes so much to even keep my eyes open and on them, my heart beats slowly, Pip is stained in tears, hes so young....

"Baby..your using all your energy to keep your eyes open.." Alex said, I nod very weakly

"If you need to go..John..You can..you cant keep living like this..your not showing sign of  getting better.."

"Alex..."

"Go..I love you, so much..."

Phillip sobbed "dont go daddy! Dont leave me, dont go!"

"I love you most of all, Phillip.."

"Daddy!"

He then closed my eyes, I let myself go..
I hear Phillip let out a heartbreaking sob...I'm so sorry

I had to go...

That's when Phillip got my letter, this was for him in the case I ever died

I may not to see our glory..but I will gladly join the fight.. and when our children tell your story, they'll tell the story of..tonight.

On Tuesday the 22nd, John Laurens  lost the fight to severe lung cancer in South Carolina  Medical Center war is finally over for him, as you may know John Lauren's was engaged in fighting for the rights of all people, black, white, gay, you name it..the money he donated has been greatly appreciated and has helped many survive

Tomorrow there'll be more of us....
