“Meghan, wake up, we have a radio interview today.” I was bringing Meghan with me so we could go public there.
Radio host: We got Diggy Simmons in the building How you doing Dig?
D: I’m great, how are you?
RH: I’m good. So I see you have a special guest here with you today.
D: Yes I do, my girlfriend Meghan.
RH: Hi Meghan. How long have you two been together?
D&M: Going on six months
RH: I’m very happy for you two. As long as you don’t bring no babies into this world as of right now, we’re all good.
After the interview, tweets, DM’s, Facebook posts, started to pour in when they found out about me and Meghan. “Feel better now that we’re public?” I asked her as we left the station. “Yeah, I do. I don’t like being a secret,” she said. “I don’t like keeping you a secret, I just didn’t think you would want people in our business like that,” I said. ”What business? We have nothing to hide,” she said laughing. I guess she was right. I decided to take her on a first date, since we never had one. I took her to a fancy restaurant for lunch, and we went to the movies afterwards. “Thank you for today, Dan,” she said looking up at me. “Anything for you, Meg,” I said kissing her. “I love you,” she said. “I love you too.”
