36. Hotel.

They stepped out of the executive mini coach in front of the Double Tree Hilton hotel. It was hot in Melbourne but not uncomfortably so. She stood next to Seb, Antti and the others in their group waiting for their luggage to be unloaded. It was Tuesday, mid morning. She struggled to get her brain around losing so much time by travelling. With her luggage in her possession she walked with Vanessa in to the reception to book the drivers in and themselves.
"Are you and Seb ok?" She asked.

"We're fine." Chloe gave her a small smile.

"You just both seem a little tense. He's barely spoken to you on the coach." She stopped as Chloe spoke to the woman on the reception desk, checking them in and collecting their key cards for their room. "You're usually quite chatty and flirty." She continued.

"We're fine. He's just tired." She wished Vanessa would keep her nose out of things. Thankfully she got preoccupied with reception and Chloe stepped away, walking over to Seb. She passed him his room key. "Vanessa's questioning me about us. She knows somethings up."

"It's no concern of hers." He picked his rucksack up and headed to the lift, pulling his case behind him. Chloe had no choice but to follow. Vanessa watched them, she knew she was right. Seb looked tense and unhappy, Chloe looked even more so. Word had got to her that there was a lot of shouting heard from Chloe's office the day she had fainted and that she had been arguing with Stephen. Vanessa wondered if that's why things were strained between them now. Seb wouldn't have been happy to find out that Chloe was having a screaming match with a man who worked for the company who owned formula one.

Chloe stood still as the lift went up. Her body was craving Seb's touch, her lips were craving his kisses. He stood quite close, but in reality he was miles away. They stopped a few times going up, people stepping in and out on various floors. Finally they reached their floor and she followed him out. He stopped at their door and using his room card he opened it, stepping inside and holding the door open for her. She let the door swing shut behind her as she took a quick look around the room. It was a large one bedroom suite, set up similar to the suite he'd had in Barcelona. Seb had already took his case in to the bedroom. She walked to the window, moving the voile curtain to look outside. She wondered if she should take her case in to the bedroom also. She figured she'd be sleeping on the sofa, maybe it would be better to leave her case in the bedroom but not unpack it. She took a breath in and walked back over to her case and wheeled it into the bedroom. Seb was in the bathroom, she noticed what side of the bed he'd put his things so she left her case on the other side and walked back out. She sat down on black leather sofa, this room was beautiful. It was very modern with a white, silver and black colour scheme. Floor to ceiling windows let in a lot of light. A large tv was mounted on the wall with a sound bar underneath it and Sonos media player stood on a small table not far from that. There was a kitchen area, a bit smaller than the one in Spain, and a large seated area where Chloe sat now. Seb came through from the bedroom.
"This room is great." Chloe decided to try and make small talk.

"It is, I've stayed in this room a few times before." He walked over to the window. "Are you going to unpack?"

"I thought I'd leave my stuff in the case."

"Why, planning on going somewhere?" He turned to face her, still standing in front of the window. Where the fuck did that question come from?

"Of course not. I just thought with me sleeping on the sofa ........"

"No one is sleeping on the sofa. There's a bed big enough over there for both of us." He interrupted her, pointing to the bedroom. "So..." He sat down near her on the sofa. "What's coming up over the next day or two?"
