44. A low and a high.

Sebastian had spent the morning with Mia and Leonie after they had woken at 7am. Why young kids had to get up that early was beyond Chloe, she had been enjoying giving Seb some early morning attention when they heard Leonie's voice on the baby monitor calling for her dad. She had got up after he had gone to see what Leonie wanted and had decided to make them all pancakes for breakfast. They enjoyed a leisurely breakfast together before Chloe had decided to hit the gym. Now Seb was out on a run with Antti and Chloe was left in charge of the girls, he'd been gone for quite a while and she hoped he wouldn't be much longer as Hannah was due to arrive very soon to collect them. She was in the lounge with the girls with the music on loud playing Jai Ho! trying to teach Mia some Bolloywood dance moves, though her own knowledge of moves was a bit limited. It was a dance she'd love to learn more of. Mia was picking up some of the moves quite quick and was giggling as she followed Chloe's moves while Leonie was jumping up and down with excitement on the sofa. None of them saw Hannah enter the room and stop to stand and watch. To see her two daughters being entertained by Seb's girlfriend was not what she wanted, she wondered where Seb was.
"Mama!" Leonie called, catching Chloe's attention as she climbed off the sofa. She quickly saw Hannah standing there, she didn't look impressed. She grabbed a remote and turned the music down.

"Where is Sebastian?" Hannah asked, crossing her arms in front of her.

"He's been out for a run with Antti, he should be back any minute." Chloe hoped that him not being here wouldn't cause him problems with seeing his kids again.

"And he left you looking after them?" Hannah eyed Chloe up and down briefly, she was still in her gym gear but had a loose vest on over her sports bra. "Do you always have your music on so loud? You will damage their hearing."

"Yes he left me with them, we've been having fun dancing, haven't we Mia." Chloe tried to lighten the atmosphere, that she could feel dropping, for the girls benefit. "I'm sorry, I didn't think it was that loud."

"I could see that. I had expected Seb to be here, he wants to spend time with his daughters so the least he can do is actually be here." She picked Leonie up and held her on her hip. Chloe noticed that Hannah was dressed in riding gear, her blonde hair was tied back, she looked very pretty with a petite figure. It made Chloe feel insecure, she could see why Seb had been with her for so long, she wondered if he'd ever be tempted to get back with her.

"He had yesterday off Hannah, he needs to train. You should know that. He's delayed his training today so he could spend this morning with them." She tried to defend him.

"I don't like him leaving our children with a stranger." Hannah put emphasis on the word our.

"Chloe is not a stranger." Seb entered the room, his face flushed and sweaty from running. Chloe felt awkward straight away, she hadn't ever really seen him and Hannah together before. He looked far from happy to see her.

"Natürlich verteidigst du sie, du fickst ihren Sebastian!" (Of course you defend her, you fuck her Sebastian!) Hannah raised her voice quickly.

"Nein! You will speak english in front of Chloe and you will not talk like that in front of my daughters!" He shot back.

"You want time with them, you make sure you are here! You do not leave them with your hired help!" She replied.

"I have to train, you know that. I can't just stop training, no matter how much I want to be with them."

"Maybe I should take the girls to another room if you're going to argue." Chloe dared to speak up, even she knew arguing in front of them wasn't good. Mia was already looking at a little anxious, it made her heart ache to see her face.
